I got the 12 LED light and it's plenty bright with the 3000 color bulbs and the LED dimmer switch I also bought (don't ever get the 5000 daylight color bulbs!!! They will blind you). Really like the looks of this light for the modern dining room that I have. TWO NEGS: #1 - Big PIA to put together - you have to screw in about 100 bundled strands (DO NOT CUT THE BOUND STRANDS or you'll have a nightmare screwing in). But be patient, it will take about an hour, plus some time to untangle overlapping strands. #2 - Cleaning this in the future???? You cannot wipe this at all, but probably can use a hair blow dryer at best. The other thing that annoys me is the holding plate and cover that all China electrical lights seem to use at the electrical wire junction box, i.e., the attaching plate to your junction box has these two side prongs that is where you have to screw in the holding screws thru the cover plate. Hard to line-up and hard to get a screwdriver on them. STUPID set up !!! ... show more

We love our new chandelier! The picture doesn’t do it justice. But it was a beast to screw all of the pieces in and to hang it. Granted we only had one ladder and it was a high spot in the stairwell. Instructions are not that detailed as you can see in the photo but we figured it out. I thought the length of wire was very long and gave us flexibility to adjust height. The crystals are plastic on a very flexible wire. They come bundled with a zio tie. I would recommend the following: Install light without the spikes screwed in. Then screw in the spikes but only cut zip ties after screwing them all in. It's a lot easier. We did have one spiky bundle that was defective because it did not have threads to screw in and was too big to push in and glue. The seller was very responsive and sent a replacement bundle. Great customer service. The bundle did take time to arrive (more than a month) but that was ok with me, just happy to have it. Really great value. The lights I used are G9 dimmable led bulbs 5000k brightness. They are a bit too bright, makes the living look like it's daytime at night. I plan to install a dimmable switch in the future. I spray painted the gold parts rose gold. I think the gold looked nice too but I wanted Rose Gold. ... show more

This light is a beauty. I couldn’t be more happy with it. We did find the gold didn’t match or fixtures in our bathroom so we did spray paint the base and the ceiling cover piece. But that was simple enough. The light took a little while to assemble but was very straight forward and easy. If you are curious the gold straight out the box almost looked rose gold hinted. It was pretty but didn’t match so that’s why we changed it. I am so happy we made this purchase for our bathroom remodel. I’ll try to update the photo when the bathroom is done. ... show more

The light is absolutely beautiful and I love the overall look of it! It’s easy enough to swag it as well. I took off a star though because the description states the cable is 78 inches, which was part of why I chose this particular one, but the actual wire is much shorter than that. So, if you want to swag it, as I did, the maximum length you can use is actually only between 36-48”. I decided to use it as is instead of return it, but was disappointed that the length was much shorter than I’d expected.
