Overall the product is made well and is sturdy but is extremely difficult to install. Be prepared to go to your local hardware store to buy better hardware. It’s impossible to install with the hardware provided. Also the instructions provided were vague and did not help much at all.

Poor installation. Can't say it enough. Installation was the most horrible thing I've ever tried to install. I've installed many lights and these usually should take about 15 minutes. Each of the 3 I bought took well over 90 minutes. Horrible design to hang. PITA! Light quality seems okay once it is installed, but do not waste your time. Not worth the hassle. ... show more

Light is nice but the installation is terrible. Wrong hardware, useless instructions. In my case I believe if I just had 2 extra 8-32 nuts (so each screw can sandwich the mounting bar with 2 nuts--they only provide 2 nuts total) it would work fine but now that's an extra trip to the hardware store. I got lucky by having extra mounting hardware from an old fixture I was able to use. ... show more

Seems decent. However for install they only provide a straight mounting bar when an off set crossbar mount is clearly needed. Unless you want to be stuck mounting this light in whatever position you electrical box allows you will be spending another 5 bucks at your local hardware store. Cheers.

We got these for a home we bought several days before moving in, so we didn't install them immediately. My husband just attempted to install 1 of 2 today. He's installed plenty of light fixtures and is pretty handy. Needless to say, it didn't go well. There was a lot of cursing and swearing within minutes. The light itself is fine. It's attractive and looks like the picture. BUT...the installation hardware is CRAPOLA. The screws, bracket and nuts didn't match up or work with the fixture. It would NOT sit flush to the ceiling. After about 45 mins. he went to the hardware store for different hardware. Still a struggle and after another 30 mins. we gave up and decided to return both lights. Unfortunately, we are 3 days past the return window. SERIOUSLY???? $100 in the trash. DO NOT BUY THESE and if you don't believe me READ the REVIEWS! #MADEINCHINA ... show more

Love these cute farm house lights. I purchased 3 of them and 2 other styles. They have no glass and you see the bulb but the style is current and cute. They are a pain to install but with someone who knows what they are doing, they can be installed quickly. I would definitely recommend them.
