First I’m going to say that this is a very heavy and pretty chandelier. I loved how it looked hanging over my bed, until…. We came back from vacation and saw the chandelier dangling by just the electrical wire!!!! The metal ring holding the chandelier to its chain snapped sometime over the week away. The security wire could not hold the weight and also snapped which put the weight on the ground wire. The ground wire snapped and the electrical wires arced, sending sparks flying until the breaker popped. The only reason the chandelier did not crash down completely was because my husband had twisted the electrical wires together very well. That join was all that was holding the 30+ pounds of crystal! It was sheer luck that the chandelier did not crash down while we were home and asleep. If it had, it would have landed on my dogs bed and surely killed her!!! There were no visible defects when this light was installed about a year ago. It looks like cast aluminum and it seemed solid and well made but the component definitely cannot hold the weight. I see there’s at least one other review that said the chain snapped and could mot hold the weight. This product should be recalled. If you have one like this installed, for safety reasons, please take it down ASAP. ... show more

It’s beautiful I bought 2 , but had to return one , and ordered a second one . Several glass tubes where broken , and missing , that was very disappointing , I had to order these 2x to receive one that was complete and no pieces where broken .. besides this ..once they where up .. they ended up gorgeous ... show more
