Great multi-purpose bowl set. Lids save a lot of plastic/money over time as compared to using plastic wrap for every use. The bowls themselves were well-protected for shipping, but I received a tweaked lid for the small bowl due to the packing arrangement in the box. The lid still works well enough, but may not last as long as an undamaged one. The lid for the smallest bowl is the same size as that used for the Pyrex 7-cup bowl - luckily have a few extras lying around. The lids are ok for light microwaving, but they will deform and eventually be ruined if really heated up. As of September 2024, the specifications state Made in China. The set I received was Made in USA. 4.5 stars due to deformed lid, but totally worth the purchase price. ... show more

I love the glass bowls, don’t worry about plastic leeching into my food. The lids fit tight, and I’ve used all three sizes many times so far. Storage is easy,too.

Since these are pyrex, they can be used to store, freeze, cook, and serve. And since they are not plastic (except for the air-tight lids) they are safe to use for food. Very sturdy, useful, and presentable.

The rating of a 3 for weight is not a negative as these are very sturdy bowls and feel as though will last a long time. If they were not heavy, (not overly) I would not see them as lasting for long, especially when using a stand mixer with them or placing them in the oven as they are rated as oven safe after the oven is pre-heated. They are also fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe. They also come with lids, What more can you ask for, outside of the fact that are beautiful and will enhance any tablescape when using them as serving bowls. They were only $26.89 for the set of 3. They are sculpted on the outside, but smooth on the inside.     • It’s Pyrex
1st - the lid to the small bowl was bent in or melted or something and could not be used. Thus the 4 star rating. With that being said, these are Pyrex dishes which means they are strong & steady. The bowls are beautiful with the ridged look and I love the colorful lids. I wasn’t sure at first what the bowls would look like because some of the reviews were talking about 2 different bowls. One person showed bowls that had a lipped rim. Glad I got the ones with the ridged look. I will mostly use the bowls for storing leftovers in the fridge or for salads. I made chicken salad in the small bowl. It didn’t break with all the mixing & cutting up of chicken. It was steady on the table, sitting evenly without me worrying that it would start rocking and turn over. None of that. I don’t own a dishwasher so I can’t address how they’ll do, but they are super easy to handwash. Beautiful bowls, great price, & I feel will be long lasting. Tops are a great fit & the bowls come well packed. In fact, it took me forever to get in the box & each bowl was properly separated to prevent breakage. ... show more
