I needed an extra large baking dish for a particularly special recipe that I often make. The brick and mortar stores never carry that size as I have looked for this over the years. I hated to pay the higher price for this size dish but I finally caved in. I admit it was worth the $$ after making my special recipe and finding that I no longer had to cram my meat together with it baking in a shorter amount of time and browned more easily.     • Useful and practical, but Pyrex Basics are seconds
These are very useful, practical baking dishes. Pyrex basics are seconds. There may be ripples or imperfections in the glass that wouldn't be allowed otherwise. They also arrived not packed very well. One had a small chip in the handle due to shipping damage but was still usable.
