Waiting to get back onto the lanes this month, but I was using this ball for several sessions in Feb and March. First, my pro shop guy said he would set me up as strong as possible, but I shouldn't expect this ball to be as strong as my Hammer Black Widow. Probably with an apples-to-apples setup, the Black Widow would be stronger. But I didn't drill the Black Widow on the strong side. The Curse was drilled to maximize down lane strength. I does not disappoint. I can only use it on fresh THS. After a couple games, I could not keep it right of the nose. But that's what I wanted it for. I'm looking forward to testing it on heavier patterns, but I expect I will have to put an even stronger ball into my arsenal for tournaments. ... show more

I don’t know if you can zoom in and see, but that’s a 231. I haven’t bowled this well in a long time. This ball moves exactly how I want it to almost every time. I’m still an amateur, but I average about 160-170 pins per game. Since bowling with the curse I’ve improved by 10 pins.

    • Don't recommend this ball!
This ball is very weak. It was my first reactive ball. I wanted to avoid the name brand ie. Storm, Hammer, TRack, etc. Now I understand why my Pro Shop warned against this. The only good thing about this ball is now I have a ball to practice my swing at home. This ball does not react to the lanes. It is almost like a plastic or urethane ball that does not react to oil or dry lanes. Their is no flare whatsoever. ... show more

I love this ball. It is perfect for the straight bowler who wants to experiment with some curve. My bowling average has greatly improved with this ball. It is durable, easy to clean and consistent.

I’m just getting into bowling and bought this due to good reviews and reasonable price. I switched from a low hook potential ball to this and my average and consistency improved quite a bit. I used it in the last half of league play and saw a big jump in my average. The most important thing is that better bowling makes it more fun. ... show more
