This was well worth the money and exceeds all expectations. The sounds quality is beyond comparable to any other amplifier I've had. Super easy to set up. I use it at work to listen to my play list on my phone because I'm not interested in listening to talk radio all morning. It's plug and play. plug it in, hook up the speakers, connect blue tooth and you're done. The sound quality through this Pyle receiver is superior to the Pioneer receiver. This is a good receiver. Has Bluetooth and runs two channels well. It’s a patio system for nice sound in the backyard. Easy to hook up and operate. Remote range/signal is a little weak, but it’s almost as easy to just run it from the main face.     • Great Stereo For Price 420W with 5.1 Surround, 6 Speaker Connections, Bluetooth & AM/FM
This is a great Stereo for the midrange price you are paying. Plenty of power at 420W and great sound. It is great for connecting to your TV for Surround Sound 5.1 and you can connect 6 speakers via traditional speaker wire to it (Left, Right, Center, Left Rear, Right Rear and Subwoofer). It also has Bluetooth so you can play music from you phone through it, and it sounds great. You can also connect USB thumb drive to it and play music from you digital collection. I have my TV, DVD/Blu-ray/CD player, VHS, and my combination record player turntable/tape/CD/USB digital recorder (Looptone TR-18CD-R) all attached to it. I only rate it 4 stars, and not 5 due a flaw that may or may not apply to you. It has an AM/FM tuner. If you live in the city or close to the city, it will work fine. If you live where I do between the 2 cities where the stations are 30 miles away, this tuner is too weak and essentially useless. If you live away from the city and listening to radio on your stereo is important to you, you may not want to buy this stereo. I tried positioning the provided antenna in many places, tried an old antenna, and still no luck. My previous stereo in the same place, got fine reception, so the problem is this AM/FM tuner is simply too weak. If you don't listen to radio on your stereo or live in or near the city, then no problem. ... show more

Given the price point, one should have reasonable expectations. For under $100, you shouldn't expect high end performance. First, the good: It does work, it arrived quickly, Bluetooth pairing is simple (though entirely unsecured), and the price is attractive for what I want it for (listening to music while working in the garage). The bad: The sound quality is... only "fair" (and that's with it connected to Bose speakers), the "user manual" is essentially worthless, the operation of the unit is very non-intuitive, there's no direct tuning for FM stations, there's no AM capability at all, and the remote control doesn't work. ... show more

    • Incredible sound from a small footprint.
Style: Amplifier System
Unboxing was easy and the company put some thought into making it so without producing a ton of garbage. Simple set up. Plug it in, how hard is that. Bluetooth connected to my phone in a second with no effort and the sound stream is steady and clean. I started with small speakers and then added a larger set of Fishers and the sound blew me away. (Good speakers do make a difference don't they). I picked out a song and tried my microphone for the Karaoke effects and found the variable echo works like a champ to add depth to your voice. With the separate volume controls for each of the two mic inputs you have a lot of flexibility to match the vocals to the song you are playing. So not let this little box fool you, it is quite powerful and has plenty of input and output options, including a video out which I will explore this weekend. Perhaps a Karaoke CD can be used to provide song lyrics on a small screen, that is the idea for me right now but not necessary. I actually will be using this to replace my old setup which consisted of a 1200 watt (80 lbs) Peavey amp connected to a 24 channel Peavey mixer in a rack that required two people to carry or a wheeled lift. No more broken back. Love this new machine and talk about value for your money, easy win. ... show more

I'm happy with the sound quality. The volume control is a little sluggish, but adequate. BUT.... I twice live chatted with the Pyle Customer Support, and was twice told that their unit was incompatible. First with my streaming provider's remote and the second time with ANY universal remote. I will be returning the unit because I don't want to have to keep up with two remotes forever. ... show more

Bought receiver for my smart tv and Klipsch 5.1 surround sound home theater system. Works great with plenty of punch and adjustable bass/treble settings. Has enough HDMI inputs for my Xbox, fire tv stick etc. Bluetooth paired easily with my IPhone. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a very good receiver for under $200. ... show more

I was very happy with this unit. It has so many functions, including mic inputs if you want to sing along. I hooked up two of my T15 Polk shelf speakers and it sounds great for the price. I did return though, as I needed a headset plug-in and got Pyle's larger version that has that feature. The one I got also had a sub-woofer out and, even with a main volume control, has separate speaker volume control. It also has 4 speaker output. I bought both discounted as used and they came as good as new. So far, I would buy again. Now remember, these are not top of the line receivers, but they give you more than what you pay for IMO. ... show more
