  • Pretty good for price
Size: 7 Guitar Style: Guitar Stand
Not much to say other than it is pretty good for what you pay for. Personally i thing the spaces are a little compact and you most likely would not be able to put 2 acoustics beside each other unless they are very thin-bodied. Overall 7.5/10

  • Holds 7 guitars, but makes you work for it
Size: 7 Guitar Style: Guitar Stand
Guitars seem to breed other guitars; it's really rare that you buy just one and keep it at that. Storage, predictably, becomes an issue. I have 7 guitars, 5 of which had homes on unmatched stands and 2 that just kind of hung out wherever I could fit them. I needed something to hold 7 guitars, and lo and behold, I found a stand for 7 guitars. In fact, I found a few of them, but most of them were over $100, which was more than I wanted to spend. Ultimately, I went with this one. I knew this would be a no-frills product, which is fine, since it's just supposed to be some metal and rubber. The process of putting this together was not at all difficult, but the instructions could have benefited from having more detailed illustrations. Unfortunately, the bolts were not good fits for the components. In fact, the bolts stripped pretty much immediately when I started tightening them to attach the neck-rest assembly to the base. I honestly wondered if I had used the wrong set of bolts (there are two) but those were even worse. Neither set was really long enough to provide the necessary stability or strong enough to withstand the level of tension required to keep the neck-rest assembly in place. I wound up going to a hardware store and picking up some better bolts, nuts, and washers. After it was all put together, I was struck by how strangely designed this thing is. The base has two padded rods that are parallel to each other where the bottoms of your guitars' bodies should sit. Ok, fine, makes sense. But the vertical alignment of the neck-rest with the base is such that you can't rest your guitars straight up-and-down in the way that the picture of the product depicts. This means you need to angle the neck-rest assembly at like a 23 degree angle to get the guitars to stand up, but I cannot conceive of how this would be possible if you used the bolts that were included in the package as they would not be able to be tightened enough to prevent the thing from flopping over. Even the replacement bolts I got were not entirely up to the task since the weight of one guitar leaning on it was enough to cause it to fall, which obviously means that 7 guitars wouldn't be able to stay put; I'm afraid to continue tightening the new bolts since I'm pretty sure the thin panels connecting the two assemblies would warp or break. I ultimately had to put some pieces of rubber in between the bottoms of the neck-rest poles and the tops of the base poles to keep everything in place and secure. As an aside, this stand is probably best used with extremely common guitar body types. I have 7 guitars with 6 different body styles and this is definitely oriented toward standards like Stratocasters, Les Pauls, etc. My pointy guitars sort of fit but the more I look at them leaning against the stand, the more my anxiety increases. I have one acoustic guitar on the stand and it has to be at the very back because there's no way there would be enough clearance for it to be placed anywhere else; I can't imagine trying to put more than one acoustic on here and still having room to use all 7 slots...at least without having the guitars resting up against one another and causing issues. Overall, I wouldn't say that I'm especially satisfied with this. It does in fact hold 7 guitars, but not without extra effort and components. I understand that its cheaper price point limits its aesthetics and build quality, but I was honestly shocked at how easily the bolts stripped (and it's not like I'm Brock Lesnar or the Incredible Hulk, so I wasn't applying a ridicuous amount of force) and the overall lack of sturdiness. I am hopeful that these issues are limited to my order since it has a fairly high rating. However, not knowing whether this is just mine or a more pervasive problem, I don't think I'd recommend it. Spend the extra money and get one that's sturdier. ... show more

  • Does what it should, a few caveats
Size: 7 Guitar Style: Guitar Stand
It holds acoustic, hard-body, and hollow-body guitars and basses. The two issues I have: 1) missing a screw for the bottom bar which was pretty disappointing (when you are missing just one screw, you don't want to go through all the hassle for warranty support, so you add time and effort to find a similar screw instead); 2) you need to ensure the screws are real tight. If it's loose at all, it's flimsy and won't support all four slots. Use Loctite if needed. It's sturdy if tight. Still a good buy. Remember that you need space behind the stand as the guitars lean back and the heads will hit the wall if not enough room. This may make it less desirable for some rooms. ... show more

  • Good product at great price

It fit all of my guitars and basses, but it’s not very stable/sturdy. Can’t argue with the price though.

  • Good way to get your space organized - Only average sturdiness
Size: 7 Guitar Style: Guitar Stand
It has worked pretty well for me so far. Assembly was easy enough. I currently have a shorter fret E bass, acoustic guitar, three E guitars, and a mic stand against it and it has been holding them just fine. The caveat though is that I feel you have to handle the rack kind of carefully, as while it might be able to hold the weight, I think if you banged it or put an instrument into it carelessly it could make it tip over or possible loosen if your frame connections wherent carefully and tightly made. But you get the feeling that, you shouldnt tighten or press it together too much, as the metal might crimp or warp somehow. Putting it against a wall is a good call for any rack, just in case, imo. Overall- it's just right for the job. Nothing more or less. It's perfect for a studio or your bedroom but not resilient enough to handle getting setup and broken down constantly while also on the move, in my opinion. ... show more

  • Ok enough for my ok guitars
Size: 7 Guitar Style: Guitar Stand
I have this loaded up with my cheap guitars and I don't worry about them because they are cheap guitars and CBGs I built from parts. If I were loading this up with classic guitars that were actually valuable I might think differently. Doesn't inspire tons of confidence and the padding feels pretty cheap, but if you can get over yourself and how cheap your guitars actually are, rock on. Only took a few minutes to assemble and it does the job I'm asking of it. ... show more
