I got this carrier in the event that we had to capture either of our two outside (formerly feral, but now just "outside") cats and bring either to the vet. I'm confident that this carrier can comfortably house either cat. The fabric it's made up and the carry strap are made of sturdy material. My only complaint is the stiff floor board they provide to use as a "floor" in the carrier is free floating. There's no way to secure it to the floor of the carrier and there's no mechanism to keep it in place other than the weight of your cat presumably. It's also made of slippery material. We have two cats. Our smaller one should fit just fine. I knew our bigger cat wouldn’t. Length-wise she would but weight-wise I’m pretty sure she’d put too much stress on the bag. My only issue are the plastic clips for the shoulder strap. I don’t think they’re going to hold up but I may be proved wrong. Though solid, they’re plastic, and I don’t think a pet of any substantial weight won’t stress them out eventually. We don’t often transport our cats so hopefully they’ll be durable for the minimal times we’ll need this. ... show more

The smell out of the box was horrible. Smelled like a burning nflatable pool toy. Purchased three only because they were cheap and am traveling/relocating with many fur babies. I would not use these for repeated use. I will probably donate them once we have moved.

    • Affordable, lightweight cat carrier

Trying to tote around two cats is not an easy task. Previously, I had used a large, heavy cage, which was unwieldy and very heavy when two full-sized cats were placed inside. Tired of embarrassing myself every time I stumbled into the vet, I decided to get this carrier. In comparison to the big cage, it is extremely lightweight, and it comes with a long strap so you can carry it over your shoulder. My cats are pretty easy to wrangle, but if yours put up more resistance, it might be difficult to get them in here and keep them in. My cats are brothers and are both about ten pounds, and are definitely on the upper end size-wise for this carrier. (I ordered a size small.) This carrier only fits one cat, so if you have more than one cat you'd like to carry, you will need another bag. I wouldn't recommend this size for cats that weight more than twelve pounds, so if you know your cats are bigger, get a size medium. However, if you're looking for something lightweight and affordable to carry around your medium sized cat, this is a great option. ... show more

    • Sturdy, soft carrier with good handle strap options

Soft carrier has sturdy sides with a combination of thick, easy-to-clean padded nylon with seamed netting on top, front and back ends and an inlay on one side. The bottom of the carrier has a nylon-covered board that provides support. It is removable but the nylon is sewn on so cannot be removed for washing. It can be wiped for cleaning but I would suggest an additional towel for the kitty be placed on the bottom board. The carrier opens from either front or back and comes with a sewn-in carry handle plus an additional over-the-shoulder carry strap that can be clipped on for use. Clips are provided on the front and back ends and also diagonally on the sides which gives two options for using the long carry strap which is nice. Also convenient is a zippered pocket on one of the sides. The carrier sent would hold an average-sized adult kitty comfortably. ... show more

I am totally pleased with this cat carrier. You just take it out of the package and slide the hard bottom in and it's ready to go. The zippers all work well and are easy to zip and unzip. The material that carrier is made of seems pretty heavy duty and appears should last quite a while. Should be easy to clean as well. The is a small zipper on one side that is perfect for keeping a lease or maybe pet snacks. The size is perfect for a cat ( or maybe a small dog) This is made for small animals only so as long as that is what you are looking for, you should be pleased. I can't find one thing that I dislike about this carrier so far. A definite thumbs up 👍 ... show more

We needed a carrier for taking our cat to/from places without having a bulky plastic crate & this does the job. It’s perfect for what I would call a small/medium size cat. There’s nothing too fancy about it which I’m okay with. It does come with a strap much like a gym bag that’s adjustable. Our cat Sushi didn’t complain, so it’s a win for us! I haven’t traveled on a plane using it (just car rides) so I’m not 100% sure if it’s airline approved/appropriate. ... show more

I recently was gifted a kitten - a real cutie pie at that. Regardless, he isn’t wild about riding in a car and I thought I needed to upgrade his adoption (cardboard) box. [One reason I think he doesn’t like the box is that he can’t see out]. This triangular shaped carrier seemed to be just what I needed. It is hot pink, which isn't an issue since he definitely has a soft side and doesn’t shy away from bold colors. This carrier is collapsible, and folds up nicely which makes it easy to store in a drawer or closet. When full, there are convenient shoulder and hand straps that you can use to carry it. There are mesh sides and multiple zippers for easy access. The sides open versus the top. Initially, my kitten was 2 or 3lbs, but now he is about 8lb. I think he can use this until he is about 10lbs, comfortably. In conclusion, this is an inexpensive option ($13 on Amazon) for a small pet (a kitten, a small tea-cup dog, or maybe a rabbit). However, as your pet grows, this carrier will definitely need to be upgraded. ... show more
