The media could not be loaded. Considering what wood costs (especially white oak, and pandemic shortages/logistics/wild fires etc), and the cost it takes to create items by hand or in large scale these items are well worth their price. I especially like the thickness and clip style used to secure the frame back. My only negative is that the frame is exact size, so my 12x16 prints did need about 1/16-1/8” trim on the edges to fit perfectly, but this wasn’t an issue for me. The only other improvement would be if they could include anti-glare plexiglass as an option for a higher fee, even if thin. The included plexiglass is thin/standard style. The color is neutral enough to blend with white oak, rubber wood etc. (light toned woods), but could also blend well with mango and acacia (multi toned woods) quite nicely. (Could go with raw walnut/cherry, Might be too dark for blonde woods like maple or pine, but you may be able to sand down and custom finish- however know how oak takes stain). If I needed wood frames in the future, I would purchase these frames again without hesitation. (I design/build museum exhibits, and create fine art in the form of sculpture/wood carving as well as 2D forms- this is a decently priced item for what it is, if you don’t have time or access to create your own frames.- wood and labor are expensive!) ... show more

I got this frame with a 6$ coupon. It is affordable and the quality is what I would expect or better for spending around 15$. I did not realize it came with a mat and that it is acrylic not glass. Each side of the acrylic is covered with a protective slip, so make sure to peel it off each side, this removes the recycle labels. The media could not be loaded. Frame works and esthetically isn’t hard on the eyes. Corners are in tact and wood has a nice grain to it. I failed to realize the frame didn’t come with glass or anything so the art work in exposed, which is fine but I missed that detail in the product description. Because there’s no glass on the front the print bubbles in some areas. I think the price could have been lower for the value, but overall I am happy with my purchase.
