My old trusted Rowenta dinosaur steam station finally died out on us, and we were looking for a budget friendly alternative. This steamer was very easy to assemble and use. It’s so much gentler on clothes than a traditional iron and gets most wrinkles out fairly well. It works awesome on soft cottons, like tees. It even worked on my work uniform. For me, it’s a bulk issue. Not sure how I’ll be storing it, will most likely need to make room in the closet since it’s upright. Also, it’s a matter of habit; getting used to no longer “pressing” your clothes by pushing downwards, sweeping horizontally vs. “steaming” clothes looking at eye level, standing and sweeping vertically. Just strange making the switch this way. It’s a nice unit overall. The first unit delivered had missing parts, but the replacement was great. The height is adjustable. It rolls but the wheels are just functional at best. I’d definitely recommend it. Not sure if I’d use it exclusively to replace a traditional iron/ steam station. Sometime it’s nice to get crisp creases in fabrics.. this wouldn’t do that. ... show more

    • Didn't Disappoint....My House is Wrinkle Free !!
This is a great steamer. I had a Rowenta that I loved for years and couldnt replace the nozzle ,so I had a find another machine. The dial on this model is a great feature. My past model had a step on knob that was more convenient than bending over but with dogs and a cat in the house there was always the worry about if I had forgotten to unplug it and them accidentally turning it on. The double bars with a hanger is nicely thought out too. The only thing I would have liked is if it was a bit taller, but I think it would have been top heavy if it was. It also came with 2 clips ,which I found right off the bat were very helpful. I had to steam the covers from the arms of the couch and I was able to clip them right on the hanging bar and steam away...it was awesome ! I haven't used the accessories yet so I can't comment on them.The pants clip looks interesting as I've never seen one of those before. I read alot of reviews before I purchased this model....alot ! I'm one of those people. Save yourself some time . It was a great price when I bought it with great features and seems quite sturdy. I will update after I've had it for a while. ... show more

    • Leaks all over the floor
I bought this steamer because of the high ratings it has, and I needed a full sized steamer for my photography business to steam the backdrops I use. Well, was I ever disappointed! It was very easy to put together. Put the hose on and lock it in place. Push the 2 aluminum bars into the slots and attach the top piece with the clothes hanger (which does NOT stay on no matter what you try), then put the handle cradle on. Next came the time to test it out. I put water in the reservoir, not even filling it to the max level because I just wanted to test it out. I plugged it it, turned it to the Cotton setting, which isn't even the highest setting, and waited a few minutes for it to heat up. I started to use it on an old muslin backdrop I had, and it barely worked (I expected a little better, but I didn't have it on the Linen setting, so wasn't upset...it WAS working just slowly). The nozzle was spitting water onto the backdrop, which is not normal for a steamer, but I figured it was the first use, so maybe it needs to be worked in a little bit. Then, I moved the machine and much to my surprise...a BIG puddle of water right under the machine!!! This is NOT normal and completely caught me off guard. OK, well, I thought maybe I did something wrong. So, I unplug the machine and clean up the mess, take the reservoir out, replace it and make sure it's seated right in the housing unit. Then I plug the unit back in and let it heat back up. Well, it still leaked all over the place. Needless to say, this is NOT recommended. Now to see how I go about getting it returned. ... show more

I bought this steamer on an impulse and after using it on all kinds of outfits, from cotton to linen to silk, I must say it's a winner. It reminds me of the kind they use in stores for their merchandise. You do have to have a designated spot in your laundry room or house for it because it is a stand up steamer.     • Hose too short.
I bought this because we got a new house with 8 foot doors and we installed thermal curtains on 7 sets of french doors and some tall windows. I knew the thermal curtains would need to be steamed because what looks worse than wrinkled curtains? Also, I sew and thought this would be nice for my LARGE fabric projects. This WORKS well, but the hose to the steam head is too short and so you can only steam up to about eye level. If you wanted to steam anything taller you would have to set it up on top of a table. Also, it doesn’t work well if you are steaming near the floor because instead of steam, big water drops shoot out the hose and spews weather all over your project………. It works if you use it at the right level, otherwise disappointing. ... show more

    • Great product and amazing customer service
I purchased the PurSteam steamer over a year ago and initially it did not seem to work that well. I was not sure if I was doing something wrong but was too busy with the move to the new house to read the manual in detail or call the vendor. I tried it a few more times but at the end reached out to the customer service, by then it was more than a year since I bought the steamer. Based on my description of issues they determined the unit was defective and I was informed that they would immediately ship to me a brand new steamer. I did not have to return the old one or pay the shipping costs. Frank in the Customer Service was incredibly polite and understanding. I received the new product within a couple of days and the new unit works beautifully! I mostly use it to steam my clothes and it takes seconds to take out wrinkles, it literally works as a charm. But I am absolutely amazed with the integrity of the company and incredible customer service. I believe this has been my best experience ever!
