Update - Customer Service did reach to me and replaced my chairs with a different color. Since these are not UV protected it's better to buy the darker color. Don't hesitate to get in touch with Customer Service if you have an issue. Yes agree not easy to put together. Initial Review - Nice attractive, sturdy chairs.... Shown online to be used by the pool. Well if you do use them out by the pool - expect the beige set to look like mine (see attached photos). Good customer service in that they will respond to you but again no UV protection is provided on these chairs. ... show more

Purple Leaf Customer Service was very prompt to get me not only that piece, but a few extra pieces as well for future use if needed. They were quick to reply to emails & the replacement pieces were sent via FedEx for fast delivery at no charge. One went together just fine and seems like it will be a good addition to the pool, but the other cannot be assembled due to warping of the metal and screw holes being too small to fit the screws through. Of course, it’s past the 30 day return window. Update: customer service is wonderful. They sent me a new package of chairs. The media could not be loaded. I don't normally write reviews. This is the first of two (second will come with a different purchase). While I'm pretty construction savvy, this one had me going insane! Not only were the instructions less than helpful(still not sure where "j" goes), the product is faulty. The "teeth" do not catch...except the first one. I can sit up fully or lay back fully... there is no in between. This took way to long to put together, just for it not to work properly. I purchased enough sets to furnish an apartment complex's pool- most of the sets arrived in pristine condition, but one box was damaged by the shipping company and the nuts and bolts were lost in transit, and two of my packages were sent in the wrong color lounge chairs- Purple Leaf was amazing and sent replacements for all immediately. I could not ask for better customer service! It is one thing to send a perfect product, it is another to remedy an issue to the customer's satisfaction, and they were amazing at it!
