This is the third online packaged catnip I've purchased. The first two were a bust. They smelled potent, seemed fresh, but my cats just didn't like the plant variety. This, however, is a big hit, I mean, big. The catnip itself is fresh and clean. I can turn the jar upside down and the bottom is as nice looking as the top, in other words, no plant crumbs from being in the jar for a long time. It's mostly small buds/seeds, no observable leaves, and with a minor number of stems. I thought it was a little pricy for 1 cup, but loving it the way they do, it's worth it and I'll definitely buy again. Meow! Purple Haze ... show more

I love my cats so of course I was willing to spend this amount of money on catnip for them. But considering the size of this, I find this particular product to be greatly overpriced. However it does have that pleasant minty smell (for me) and my cats seem to prefer it over other brands. You can definitely tell it is quite fresh. The container seals up nicely, it is air-tight. I have found that a smaller amount of this catnip affects the cats as compared to needing larger amounts of the other brands. Unless, of course, cats can build up a tolerance, lol. ... show more

First of all Sadee needs to go to kitty weedaholics she is so addicted. Her brand got discontinued and I have been searching for something new to replace it. During this time she has igorned me, except for feeding time of course, or when I had something new for her to try. Heaven help me for not succeeding! Let's just say.....it was ugly folks. I read the reviews for Purple Haze and prayed. Sadee was about to pack her bags and move out! I showed her the videos and begged for one more chance and hit the buy button! We anxiously watched the for mailman, her with the evil eye, me praying. It came today! With shaking hands I opened it, poured a little in the lid and offered it up to the Queen of Darkness.....she sniffed....she tasted....she snarfed......she gobbled.....she kissed my my hand! I expected my cats to go crazy over this since they absolutely love catnip from the dollar store. However the dollar store has been out for months so I decided to spoil them with some awesome purple Haze catnip. Idk why but my cats were not at all interested. For us, it was a no go 😿 (I have 3 cats)

So my cat is a seasoned stoner 8 years of being baked daily, and is quite the critic with his cat weed. I was looking for something stronger for him because he has built up a tolerance. This does the job, he approves. My 3 year old cat doesn't care much for nip in general but she also approves.
