I have a Nissan Quest. Any owner to this car would know how difficult it is to replace the engine air filter. It took me almost an hour, the nightmare started after sliding the filter in. Reason I didn't give it 5 stars is irrelevant to my vehicle. When I had a hard time to close the filter bay lid, I tried to tuck the filter to the lid, and just for that one trial, 4 spots on the filter grew some metal mesh "bubbles". 2017 Nissan Murano. The filter is Made in China. I had a difficult time at first installing the air filter. I couldn’t close the lid correctly. I noticed the lip is much thinker than my old filter. I took scissors to it and trimmed the lip all the way around. Once that was done it fit like a glove.

The Purolator A24278 filter fits 2006 Subaru Forester with some work. The rubber/foam around the filter is thicker than the OEM filter so make sure the rear tabs are in locking position (3 holes on removable cover and 3 tabs on bottom stationary piece) when you replace the filter and confirm after installation is complete by trying to lift the rear part. The snug fit may be there to create airtight seal but then OEM is not that thick. ... show more

The rubber frame is twice as thick than OEM FILTER so putting back part of keyed air box wasn’t very easy had to rub a little white grease on Rubber to stop grabbing at the keyed lid layed in perfect but at least 1cm to thick ! I bought a three pack not a lot of money but would be very easy for someone to not line up cover and have box pop open while driving and possibly damage an engine disappointing . ... show more
