    • The Only Cabin Air Filter With HEPA Level Filtration Out There
I value clean air, especially when I spend so much time in traffic on the freeways of smoggy Southern California. I've purchased quite a few air filters for both my car, girlfriend's car and home air purifiers within the last month. This filter caught my eye because unlike home air purifiers that have the HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance) standard capturing 99.97% of particles that are .03 microns or larger, auto cabin filters do not state the level of filtration. This filter is of HEPA standard and I'm sure the only one when it comes to auto cabin air filters. They say that it's the tiny particles that you can't see that is most damaging to one's lungs/health. I bought this for my girlfriend's 2013 Toyota Prius Persona and it was a perfect snug fit. Immediately after installing the filter, I pressed the quick air cleaning button in the car and my nostril cleared up quickly from breathing in the crisp purified air. It's heavier than the stock Toyota filter due to the larger number of pleats and more filter media. This also means that it will last longer as there is more media to capture and hold the particulates. There are 3 layers of material, unlike the 1 uniform fibrous material on most other filters. And in comparison to the stock Toyota filter, the air can be felt to be cleaner compared to the air quality immediately after installing the OEM cabin filter in the past.. What would be nice is to see a carbon infused HEPA filter...hopefully Bosch reads these reviews. If you want the best filter for the money, this is the one. ... show more

I recently installed the BOSCH 6055C HEPA Cabin Air Filter in my Toyota, and it's been a game-changer! Just like my experience with the FRAM filter, this cabin air filter has been performing excellently. It's been a few months since the replacement, and I haven’t noticed any issues with airflow. This filter works fine in our 2015 Toyota RAV4. It is so easy to DIY, less expensive than the dealer and solid quality. I have used this bran and filter for the past several filter changes and will stick with this brand and filter in the future.

I just installed this and replaced the original factory cabin filter. I also replaced the engine air filter at the same time. I noticed that the airflow is not as strong (yet?) I do not know if this is because the engine filter is thicker than the original or that it's because they are new. I will update my review if things change. ... show more

Dealership wanted to charge $55 for a basic filter replacement, $75 for HEPA. I've been able to get this BOSCH HEPA filter from Amazon consistently for under 20 bucks and it's great quality and offers a lot better air filtration compared to a basic air filter. I've noticed less smell in my car and the air con just feels nice and fresh. One youtube video and I realized just how easy it is to replace the filter on my 2016 Camry.
