The bones are my dogs faves. So why one star? If you read the ad, it claims that there are (6) of these for $20.00 um NO. I GOT ONE package of two bones. Ad lies. This is only one pack. Rip off.

    • Dogs Loved These, But I Have Some Reservations
I always think of treats like these are Twinkies for humans. They are very processed, they are not the healthiest and these are filled with grains. But I eat Twinkies and enjoy them, well not that much, but I enjoy lots of things like Twinkies. So I can't begrudge the dogs an occasional "Twinkie." I'm also worried about anything like this as a choking hazard so I never feed them one without being present. Ok, there are my reservations. From the dogs perspective, these were pretty heavenly. It did seem to be satisfying for them to gnaw on these for a while, or at least the two to three minutes it took to finish them. It is obvious that they appreciated the taste and texture. They would give five stars accross the board. So, dogs love it, I wince at the ingredient list and would prefer to give a more pure treat. And I would definitely limit the amount of these that they get, but they loved them. ... show more

    • The (6) 2 ct pouches is only one pouch of 2. These don't last long.
I ordered the (6) 2 ct pouches of Purina Busy Bone Dog Chew Dog Treats for my two small dogs in the small/medium size. Only one pouch arrived, which contained two bones. My dogs are both very small, and these were actually too big for my dogs, but in spite of that, they ate them fairly quickly. This isn't a long lasting chew, although it's certainly one that seems to appeal to my pets. There is no stinky smell, which is nice. The "meaty middle" does seem to stain the carpets a bit however, so for me, that's a reason to avoid purchasing these in the future. I also wish they lasted longer than they do. I wish I could give a better review but when I gave this bone to my dog she went and hid it. That's typically what she does when she doesn't want or like a bone. I've found far too many bones hidden in corners or sometimes the kids beds! Maybe I'll pass it along to my sisters pup.

These chew bones are decent. The small-medium are quite large in size. Took my dog a while to eat, which is good. They have a nice, smoky smell. I am not very impressed with the ingredients. Rice, glycerin, flour and water are the first 4 ingredients, and it does not get much better than that down the list. The company also added corn syrup and sugar to the mix, which in my opinion is not necessary for an animal's palate. The nice thing is that these do not contain rawhide, so they should be easily digestible. However, I would still supervise your pet to make sure they don't swallow the entire chew bone at once and take small bites instead. Also, read the instructions closely, as only one bone is recommended per week for a dog of up to 37 lbs and only two for a dog of up to 70 lbs, so this is not an every day thing. I am guessing any more than that, and it may not be so good on their digestive system. ... show more

    • My dog loves the 2-3/4” long bacon flavored chews.
- Each small bacon flavored treat measures 2-3/4 inches long by 5/8 inch in diameter. It is a hard treat so it can’t be broken in half. - My dog loves the treat and carries it around the house showing it to the cats and to my wife. He then settles down and enjoys eating the treat, which takes about 5 minutes. - There is very little smell, so it’s a good indoor treat. - Top of the bag has a zip-closure so the treats stay fresh. - Their Amazon description says it is made in the US, but I don’t see anything on the bag stating where it’s made. The only US info is Nestle Purina’s company address. - I’m confused by the pricing, because I only received one bag of 10 small treats. At $24 a bag, this makes each tiny treat a whopping $2.40... which is not a good value and falls outside my budget. My dog really enjoys these bacon flavored treats. ... show more
