This is a nice sized bag, a little smaller than you might expect but it also holds more than you'd expect - so it's kind of a wash. I uploaded a picture of the full bag next to a standard coffee cup for comparison. I find myself wishing it had more pockets, but for most uses it's more than enough. There's a small outside zipper pocket which comfortably fits keys, wallet, and most phones; one side pocket with about an inch-and-a-half of depth, and another side pocket that you can stick a pair of shoes in (because of a lot of material that will extend out into the bag). You can't beat it for the price, but if you are really specific about what you want in a bag but are still price-conscious, you should probably pick one out in-person at a place like Marshall's, TJ Maxx, etc. ... show more

Love this Gym bag. It's the right size for regular gym items. It also has a separate shoes component. It is big enough to fit into one shoes, one bath tower, shampoo and conditioner, some clean changing clothes, and I also put in one travel hair dryer, and it still has some space left. This bag is well made, super light, but also has a light plastic frame in each end cap to give it a little bit of structure so it isn't constantly collapsing inward on itself as you try and take things in and out. I may cut a piece of styrofoam to exactly fit each end to really get them to stand up so it stays reasonably open when partially full or empty. All extra pockets are on the outside- no inner pockets. One end cap opens to the shoe storage bag, the other is just a regular storage pocket but large and could work well for all your toiletries. I bought this duffel bag as an alternative to stuffing a small backpack for overnight trips. I love Puma and I love this product. It has two small straps that Velcro together along with a longer carrying strap. It also has pockets on each end and a small zipper pocket on the long side which is great for stowing keys. There's a little loop strap on the end so you can hang it on a hook for easy storage. This bag is big enough to fit all of my toiletries (there is a lot), a pair of shoes, a couple outfits, and still have some extra space if needed. Bought this because I needed a cheap duffel bag for a quick trip to the beach. It was much bigger than I expected it to be and has a nice appearance. I nabbed the black one with a silver puma cat on the side for just 16 bucks and probably couldn't have beat the price anywhere else. I was able to fit like 3 or 4 days of clothes & toiletries for both myself and my 11 year old nephew, so it should be more than big enough for everyday gym use. Just keep in mind, I highly doubt you're getting fine craftsmanship at an average of $20 bucks per bag. If you're rough on your stuff, spend a little more for the quality level you require. I saw some negative reviews complain about ripping. All I can say is, with everything I was carrying it was pretty heavy when I was using it and it didn't break or tear. I used this bag to haul clothes, shoes and boxing gear to/from the gym. Despite its medium-feeling size, it had a lot of room for things. It was comfortable to shoulder and was a great all-around gym bag. However, in less than a year, mine fell apart (see pictures). I've been using this as my gym bag for the past year and a half and it's gotten the job done. Within the past few months it's begun tearing along the seem of one of the side compartments, where the strap connects. Wear and tear I suppose, but I do wish it would have lasted a big longer.
