I really love having this. I wanted my ps5 to look like my ps3 and ps4 in terms of color so I got this. First thing I will say about this is that the matte black color looks amazing. This plate is extremely durable and not too scratch prone. It is pretty easy to install but does take a little bit of force to remove the old and install this one but it fits perfectly. Once I had it installed it was perfect! It was cut perfectly so it has no issues with the drive slot being used or anything like that. It feels just as durable as the original. The plate has not warped or bent since on got this even if I stack something on top of it which is great. The black finish fits perfectly with my ps3 and ps4 look. It even matches the ps5 matte black controller in color. Overall this is a pretty nice plate replacement for the ps5 if you want that original matte black look. It does not have the PlayStation logo on it which I would have loved to see but it works with the ps5 stand that comes with the physical console device. The bottom piece was easy to install but I did struggle a bit with the top piece. The pegs wouldn't line up as easy but I eventually got it. Doesn't have the PS5 symbol on the top left cover piece but no biggie for me.

Update: I reached out to the seller and got a very fast reply and they are shipping a replacement cover out to me. I am updating my review to 5 stars now. Not only does the case look great, but the customer service is exceptional so far. Original Review: First off I will say these look great on my PS5 and I am very impressed with the finish. Maybe I got a bad one, but one side is taller than the other causing it to wobble back and forth. I tried removing both sides and putting them back on, but it's the same result each time. The left side sits higher than the right (disc) side causing it to sit uneven. I was able place some folded up paper under the right side to keep it from wobbling, but not an ideal fix. I even tried putting the original PS5 plates back on a few times to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong and they fit perfectly each time, so it is the replacement plates causing the issue. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. faceplates are rigid and easy to install, comes with dinamic instructions, does let the ps5 breathe better. In use with some other accesories you will have a no-heat console 👍🏻 Hope this was helpful

I will say that the boxing and packaging came great, I think that it works as intended, temperature since adding the extended memory is a bit more regulated, so if your buying just for that, do it. My complaint is that installing the plates wasn't as smooth as I would have liked, the plates didn't stay in place initially and one late even fell off, lucky i was sitting on my sofa. I did have to re-snap it, and be extremely careful moving it to my gaming station, It does not fit on the stand-up stand I had the original console sitting in, as these plates are just slightly larger, I imagine if you just let it free-stand it will be fine as long as the plates hold. I'll give it a 5, but its more like 1 4.5 to me. ... show more
