  • Great for budget but has a very bright light
I enjoy playing pc more than anything else but I find some games to have too many buttons to press and my less than average sized hands dont like reaching for buttons. I've had about 50 hours of gameplay so far and havent needed to change batteries so that's great. I also love that the controller's sleep timer is short so it prevents wasting battery when you walk away. My only complaints are the direction pad and the light. The D pad doesn't always agree with me. I could press the up button and it will go right. This isnt too big of a deal since I dont use it too often but it is mildly irritating when I need it. The other complaint is the guide button light is VERY bright in the dark. It gets a little blinding if I'm playing a game with a dark screen, it feels like driving and someone coming at you with their high beams. It's a great controller that fits my budget and mostly works as expected. I will probably just cover the light up at some point. ... show more

  • Everything You Need
Color: Red
I am throughly impressed with how this works with my games as an xbox recognized controller. The instructions are hard to understand and they don't explain the different modes well. I'm still not sure how the USB mode and other modes should work {when you press and hold the menu button}. It works great for my needs, which have been Outlast 2 and Final Fantasy IV so far. ... show more

  • Great Controller
This is a feature and button packed controller, but sadly I had to return. It was no fault of the controller. The stupid game that I purchased will not allow control of the tank turret with a joystick. The game is IL-2 Sturmovik. It has an expansion for tanks but due to the fact that the gun and turret controls will not function with a joystick I still have to use the keyboard.I contacted the game creators and they flat out refused to even consider adding this feature at a later date. ... show more

  • Excellent Controller.
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: 06/25/2020 Shortly after my original review my controller began disconnecting frequently. I have tried troubleshooting this problem to no avail. Replacing batteries didn't work, neither did disabling nearby radio devices, or trying this device in different computers or my PlayStation 3. The store page mentions this problem, but no real fixes, so it looks like this is a design flaw and not a manufacturing issue. I am adjusting the score to reflect this issue. A controller that doesn't work is a useless controller. Original Review follows: This might run long, so here's the bottom line upfront: This controller is great! It falls between the Xbox 360 controller and the Xbox One controller in quality, and is a far superior option to the PS3 controller for use on PC and PS3. My Review: I was in the market for a wireless controller for my laptop. I had been using a PlayStation 3 controller, but the cord would stress the USB slot, and the controller itself wasn't that great since it had paddles what required clips in order to be triggers, and those clips were always popping off. On top of all of this, the controller itself was old and the battery just wasn't holding a very long charge, so as a PS3 controller it was lacking. On my PC I've been using a Xbox One controller, which has been fussy sometimes, especially when it came to getting the wireless adapter working in Windows 7 (my desktop) and Windows 8 (my laptop). It works fine right now, but driver support is nonexistent except for a couple of places that have drivers in their archives. This also made setting up and using the Xbox one controller a hassle, and I just wanted something simple and straightforward. That was when I found this controller, which would solve all of these issues as it is wireless and would be compatible with my laptop AND my PS3. The controller itself feels really heavy and quality, not at all cheaply made or 'junky'. It rests in the hand very comfortably, much like the Xbox 360 controller. One area where the ergonomics are better on an Xbox One controller is that the battery compartment is flush, where with this one it is a battery pack like the old Xbox 360. It can feel a bit uncomfortable on the fingertips, but if I hadn't ever used an Xbox One Controller I would probably have never noticed as much. In overall design this is essentially a 3rd party Xbox 360 controller made for the PS3/PC/Android. The shape and dimensions all fit. The face buttons feel like the 360 buttons, but slightly smaller with a more pronounced dome effect on top. They have a higher 'dome' to them, which to me isn't very comfortable compared to the flatter surface on my PS3 and Xbox One controllers. The D-Pad blows away the Xbox 360 and the PS3 controller. I like the Xbox One's 'cross' style much more, and it's a bit “clickier” which is great for menus, but not so great for action games, giving this one an advantage. This controller also connects to its wireless adapter pretty much instantly, which is much faster than the any of my other wireless controllers. When it came the first thing I did was try it out on my PS3. I booted up Max Payne 3 and played a couple of stages. Then I tried it with Grand Theft Auto V, which I had meant to play for only a few minutes, but it became a couple of hours because I was so immersed, and this controller just felt so natural that I forgot I was testing a 3rd party controller. I had switched it out with my PS3 controller to test things like input lag (there was none) and analogue responsiveness (some very minor analogue issues, but I will get into that later). The home button worked on the PS3 as well. On my laptop the performance was no less stellar. I tried several emulators and a few games in my Steam and GOG library and it worked perfectly. In Steam it is showing as an Xbox 360 controller and the home button fired up Big Picture. I was skeptical about it, the price was pretty low for the quality reviewers claimed it had, and now I am just amazed. I may eventually just pick up two more of these exclusively for my PS3. The pros: Feels great! Firm analogue sticks and triggers Great build quality No input lag Wireless adapter included (Microsoft sells them separately and they are EXPENSIVE) Strong rumble feature Goes into automatic standby to save battery life (Battery life as good as the batteries you use, in my case Amazon Basics rechargeable AA) Plug and play, no drivers needed. So the cons: The triggers have a pretty large dead zone. Maybe I'm spoiled by the Xbox One's near perfect design, but the triggers here feel like they travel between ¼ to 1/3 of their total distance before kicking in, and once they do they can be a bit touchy. In driving games this means cruising on slow can be tricky. It might also just be a PS3 issue, as when playing Mad Max on PC there have been no noticeable issues. Also, the light on this controller is very bright. If playing in a dimply lit room this will blaze blue, which can be a bit distracting. The bumpers feel kind of linear. This is a personal preference, and it doesn't really hinder anything, but the Xbox One has more of a 'hinge' style that I'm more accustomed to using. It still felt really natural using this one, and honestly, this is a niggling issue. All of that said, this controller is a very tight second place to my favorite Xbox One controller, head and shoulders above the PS3 and Xbox 360 controller in comfort and performance. Its ease of use and included adapter make it one of the best controllers on the market. At $30 you're getting a heck of a deal! Enthusiastically recommended! ... show more

  • Amazing controller

Highly recommended this brand and this controller. Works like a champ and 100% like the real xbox and works great with PC. I previously purchased a PS4 like controller brand "ORDA wireless" and had to return since it does not wireless connect with PC or PS4. I'm so happy when I received the EasySMX 2.4 controller, works great with all my games on Steam and anything on PC. ... show more

I tried two others that were supposed to work with my particular application but neither one did. This one works properly. It's easy to snap back together but I may have to use some adhesive to keep it from coming apart in the future. ... show more

  • Decent for the price
Color: Red
The battery slot is huge and causes discomfort. The main buttons are a bit tough and hard to press. Left and right buttons are hard to press repeatedly. Battery life is decent (around 90 hours).
