It’s great for what I need it for. I take my 22” crash ride and 20” crash back and forth from home to church for drumming. It’s not deep enough to zip but the front pocket works fine for my sticks and mallets. I even have room for an 8” splash. I’ve been using this case for a few months now for my gong. I looked at lot of gong cases but the were all $100 and upwards. I bought a 20” ocean drum (or wave drum) and wanted to find a case to protect it. I couldn’t find a drum case anywhere that would fit my ocean drum because it is only a couple inches thick. But someone recommended a case for cymbals. This 22” case fits my 20” drum perfectly! I love the padding and the grippy rubber foot on the bottom. Nice bag for the money, worked very well with my 20" Nazar waterfall drum with plenty of room to spare. Just ordered a 22" Remo frame drum and liked the first bag so well I bought another... 22" frame drum WILL NOT fit in either of the bags! - Huge Bummer......

I purchased this for both storage and light gigging, For the price it's a bargain and is actually sturdier than I thought it would be when I ordered it. There is more padding that an entry-level 20" bag that Zildjian sells, and this one holds 22" cymbals. I never gig with more than three rides and a pair of hats (no crashes), and usually have two rides and hats. This bag is perfect. I do wish it had a real pocket for hats, but that is not a show stopper considering that this bag runs thirty bucks (or did at the time that I purchased it.) There are no dividers, but the zipper seems as good as one can expect from a budget bag, and the bottom has a reinforcement that is external to the bag. That is a nice touch that will protect your cymbals if you accidentally drop the bag. I am pleased with mine, but would opt for something stronger if I were still gigging on a regular schedule. ... show more
