  • The Pants That Take it All!
I run a small pool repair and maintenance company in Georgia. There is nothing glamorous about this job. You are under porches in wooded and overgrown areas and many times precarious spaces working with equipment etc. It is clearly a filthy job LOL. At other times working with pools that have turned into swamps, flipping them from green to clean, buckets of chemicals, slime algae etc. Not to mention the endless list of nefarious and nasty little creatures: fire ants, black widows spiders, flea's, mosquitoes, wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, brown recluse spiders, copper head snakes etc. One must also carry tools etc and plentiful well designed pockets are a must. I have tried different pants from true speck to LA police gear however nothing performs like these ACU's. They take it all and say give me more! The features are excellent on these as well. The ties at the bottom and at the waste allow me to cinch down so I don't get critters in my pants(I guarantee fire ants in your pants will make you dance). The pockets are very well placed, very well stitched and reinforced, the side pockets with the cinching elastic bands keep things from popping out. The ankle pockets are great as well since I am usually bent down and can store water testing stuff there. The bagginess of these pants is EXCELLENT. The worst thing about the other brands was that when I am bending down and or getting in all sorts of crazy positions to work on motors and such they bind. This is a big deal. Binding clothing when you need to move while your working sucks! These are great. The roominess is necessary. One important mention I conceal carry every day. I carry either a Taurus 605 snubby or Glock 43. Not big guns but very doable for my work, they are the ones that come with me not left behind. Nothing bigger will work I have tried. I always carry because allot of times I work at night in secluded areas, with coyotes around and sometimes wild dogs. I also go through pretty bad areas to resupply my chemicals and so forth. Anyway these pants along with my 1.75" Blackhawk Riggers belt (which these belt loops accommodate) allow me to IWB carry a firearm, phone holster, tool holsters very comfortable and they're baggy enough so if I want to pocket carry the snub it melts in the pocket and stays secure(always in a holster of course) does not print at all. Last but not least the material stitching and construction of these pants is second too none, outstanding. They seem to have a water repellent quality maybe some kind of treatment as well. They wash well and don't come loose at the stitching in my experience. These are combat rated for a reason. So if you work in a job with combat like scenarios, you work out in the dirt doing construction etc these are the pants you need. I am not speaking from assumption I have hard core gear tested these up against maybe lighter more innovative tactical type pants and these just do it ALL, where the others fail! In addition I also use these for hiking, they are a little heavier than the new fangled hiking pants but seriously if an additional 6 ounces stresses you out hiking go to the gym or something, I am not a gram weeny if a couple of ounces makes something more proficient for its task I will take fire power over mobility. I hope this review helps someone. God Bless our Troops! Thanks ... show more

  • Sizing info for 34" x 34"
I wear a 34" x 34". Ordered the Medium Long. I'd say it has about a 35" waist with a drawstring to tighten it up if your waist is smaller. Roomy thigh and seat if you want to layer clothes under. BIG cargo pockets on side have an elastic bungee at the top that you can adjust to retain items if you don't want to button the flap every time. Normal size front and rear pockets. Lower leg pocket could probably hold at least one AR mag. Cargo, Rear and Lower Leg pockets all have flaps. Cargo and Rear flaps have buttons. Length on the Longs is a solid 36", but not too long for me. Knees have a velcro opening on the outside at the bottom to insert you own pad, if you wish. So essentially there's a reinforced knee because there's a double layer of fabric there. Things I didn't like: Button fly. I want a zipper that can be manipulated with one hand in the cold. Buttons normally require two hands, especially to fasten. Drawstring waist. The internal drawstring is too short. Not enough length to tie a decent bow in. Nylon drawstring is slippery and tends to slip and the bow comes undone. Just put adjustable tabs on the outside like the BDU's used to have. Add a zipper and adjustable side tabs on waist and these are 5 star with no flaws. ... show more

  • Exceptional Quality BDU, Just Be Sure Of Your Size
Size: Medium Item Length Description: Standard Length Color: Desert Digital
These are as nice a BDU pant as I’ve worn. I ordered a medium and realized upon arrival a small will be the appropriate size. Upon inspection of the digicam mil spec pant, they are in great condition. Compared to my army issued pair, they are equal in fit and finish. A very nice surprise as other major brands are still not all the same. As far as sizing goes, I’m not sure why I’m a medium in army issued and a small in these but with such a fantastic price, and an easy return policy I have no complaints. I’ll update if needed but look forward to the small size now ordered. ... show more

Size: Medium Item Length Description: Standard Length Color: Subdued Urban Digital
This pants are very comfortable and it is cheap for the price. Unlike other companies which sells them for more than $35. It doesn’t make a loud noise when you wear them. The ankle pockets are unique and I have never seen them in any pants before. The durability is very good. I work as a construction worker and I have to deal with a lot of screw and pointing items. So the durability is good because if a screw punctures me it won’t rip the pants. The quality of material is low profile and doesn’t stand out when you’re on the field working. ... show more
