I've used Propper brand BDU's for years - but they're not my favorite pant. I picked these up to give them another try - but the 5.11 Tac Lite Pro pants are a superior pant in cut, feel, and comfort. These pants are heavier than the 5.11's, but don't seem any more rugged. The crotch is less roomy, the 5.11 comes with BIG back pockets that can hold a ticket/reciept book clip board or a large tablet, with easier accessed cargo pockets. I'd probably buy them again, but only if my 5.11's were out of stock, or these were on a good sale. ... show more

These pants are really comfortable and fit very well. I wear these for work. The side pockets are very handy. My legs are a little short for the long variety. However, the pants still fit due to the blousing ties on the bottom of the pant legs. I would buy them again without hesitation, they are great. ... show more

These are being returned for 2 reasons, 1 the sizing was not what I was expecting, but the 2nd reason is because they have two metal tabs along the waist. Based on what I reviewed, these were to be completely metal free and they weren't so even if they did fit right I would have to return them as I need pants with absolutely no trace of metal on them. ... show more

I bought this for normal wear and also in hopes of using it during outdoor activities. Fits me well, definitely well worth the hand washing, but it was/is a bother to find some random stickers in almost hidden areas of the pants.

    • A great set of BDUs
I had bought some black BDU pants in the early 90's. I don't even know who they manufacturer was but they were this real lightweight ripstop nylon that was even cheaper and lighter than the fabric they used in the standard military cammies BDU's they sold for the military. I just got these. It is a summer weight BDU material, but you can tell the quality difference in the material right off. The sizing chart is right on. If you are used to the BDU sizing that you would buy your uniforms at AAFES you'll feel right at home. I only bought two pair. I think I'm going to end up buying a bunch more to be my daily work wear (casual to business casual). They aren't Dockers, but I think they could fly in a business casual environment, especially if your a techie type. ... show more

I'm 6'4", and the 'Long' means long. I probably would have been fine with the regular length. However, the fit, feel, fabric quality, stitch quality. superb for the price. I'll order a few more in other colors, but the black is great.

    • Make sure you know if they zip up or button up in the front.
Love them! Tough but lightweight!! Would buy again just need to make sure I get the zipper!!
