I love this table! I first saw this table in another very expensive furniture store and I was so happy to discover this more affordable option. The work surface is so large and the storage is exactly what I needed in my small office. Now I actually have room to work and store supplies. It is a pleasure to wrap presents on the high work surface while standing. No more back pain! There is so much room underneath, I have two bar stools that fit under as well as an additional storage cart. Though the cart is empty now because of the ample storage space with the 9 cubbies on each side. Love it! Easy to assemble and was too Heavy to lift on my own, but easy to do as a team. I really like this table. It looks great in my home office. The height is perfect for standing and working, and the table surface is HUGE. It is sturdy, but it’s made of particle board. I was surprised by this, given the price of this thing. That being said, it holds up well once you assemble everything, and the light weight of the particle board made it easier to assemble and bring upstairs. The table top is the sturdiest component and really holds the whole thing together well. I still don’t feel comfortable leaning on it.     • Sturdy, Great Price, HUGE!
I'd been eyeing the craft table that Pottery Barn sells for $1000+, ALMOST pulled the trigger. After seeing that the $1,000 Pottery Barn project table would cost a grand total of $1,400+ after shipping and tax, and I read that the one I wanted was not wood & veneer, but MDF and veneer, I decided to look around. This project table is ALMOST the same. It too is made of MDF. The table top isn't the same, and it is 1/2" taller than the Pottery Barn model. BUT it's definitely not the same price-wise and it won't be delivered with a man to put it together and put it where you want. This craft table came in 2 large and heavy boxes. I was a little intimidated by all the different pieces and little parts, but once I got the first bookcase put together, the second one went together quickly. Then it was a matter of getting the table top on top of the bookcases. No problem. I'm 5'2" tall, and if I can lift the top and put it on the bookcase you can too. Unless you're shorter than I am, which is possible, but sucks to be you if you are (kidding). I wish my craft room was big enough to just sit the table in the middle and not up against a wall, but it works that way too. There is a lot of table top space. I have my sewing machine and iMac on it. Be warned that this project center is TALL...38.5 inches. It's taking some time for me to get used to it, being that I'm so freakin' short. I still love it. You'll need a barstool if you're going to do a lot of sitting doing whatever it is you're going to be doing. ... show more

    • Extremely sturdy and worth the money!
I LOVE this work station. I use it for sewing and jewelry making. The height is just what I have been looking for, no more back aches from leaning over and cutting fabric(I have a large cutting mat on the surface). It is huge and looks expensive and very professional with tons of storage. It was simple to put together (I did this alone, except for placing the tabletop on the ends). The instructions call for you to screw the top on, but I did not as it is extremely sturdy just sitting on the ends. I ordered the 2 cubicle ends and 1 tabletop, which came as 2 shipments one day apart. It took about 8 days to receive. It seemed like a lot of money, but totally worth it and very pleased! This product is made of very poor quality pressed board. The boards were damaged when on arrival. Though the company sent replacement parts the replacement boards cracked with assembly. I tried to return the product, the company does not provide a paid return label. Return shipping on the product is around 600$. Amazon does NOT follow their own A-Z return policy. Based on some of the lesser reviews, I wasn’t expecting much but for the money, it seemed a good option. I was pleasantly surprised. I feel that the quality and value is great for this price point. Good workmanship and fairly easy to assemble. Took 2 men about an hour. Arrived in just a few days and in perfect condition. I’m using as a painting/craft space and turned one “bookcase” or side panel to the inside to save clearance space against the wall. Fits and works perfectly for what it is. ... show more
