Description

This Uber Soccer Agility Poles are designed for speed and agility training. Each pole comes ready to use right out of the package. The bottom of each pole has a solid steel ground spike to anchor and hold the pole upright for use in turf, grass and other soft surfaces. The 1-inch diameter agility poles come 12 poles to a set, half are bright orange and the other half are bright yellow. They are made of lightweight but strong PVC and stand around 6 feet tall when anchored in the ground. 1 inch in diameter. The bright colors are used to make them highly visible on the field of play. In addition, a heavy-duty nylon carrying bag (with padded carry handle) for storage and transport. The Uber Soccer Agility Poles are perfect for setting up your own speed and agility training course and are available in four different styles to choose from: Standard, 2-Piece, Springloaded and the Multi-Training set. It doesn't matter which style you choose they are a great tool for athletes, coaches and team sports as well.

This is a great deal on agility poles, most sets come with 6 poles, this one has 6 yellow and 6 orange! It is great to have two colors so I can set up either 2 lines or I can use different colors for different activities. I am a soccer coach and I use them with my under 19 team and my under 5 team. You can use these for any age group. The poles are 6 feet from the top of the pole to the tip of the point, they are not 6 feet tall from the base that the point attaches to to the top of the poles (that is about 5'6"). They are still plenty tall! It does come with a carrying bag. I have only used the poles for a few practices, but so far the bag is holding up just fine. The poles do not break down into two sections, so be sure to have a vehicle large enough to carry these poles! I would buy these again! ... show more

We got a couple sets of these as the ones we purchased prior were not available. These are very sturdy and take the constant beating from our academy soccer teams. The bag was also surprisingly well made as well. We will definitely look for them again next time we need poles.

Size: Set of 12 Style Name: Spring Loaded Training Poles
The one piece has been very durable with no problems after a season. Sticks have been a GREAT training addition. Keeps the kids "honest" on their drills in a way cones cant do, doubles as a corner flag. They do make for a long case that needs more than a trunk or backseat but are no problem in my truck bed and less hassle/more durable than the two piece styles. The ONLY reason I took off a star was the bag needs a durable cup to protect the end from spikes. With handles in the center, bag naturally tilts to which ever end has the metal spikes which will punch through the carry bag. They come with rubber nubs but those are only a shipping solution. My best solution was a 4" pvc squared edge sewer cap. It is tight to get all the spikes inside, takes extra minutes and patience. If the bag was a touch bigger diameter, a 5" cap would be perfect but I ripped the bag a little at the zipper trying. Or if the handles were off set to the zipper side enough to change the balance, the pole end could be inserted first leaving spikes at the zipper end (not as good a solution as the cup but might last a little longer as long as no one turned it on the zipper end.... I have purchased agility poles in the past and have borrowed agility poles from other coaches. These Uber poles are a full 6 feet tall, thicker and sturdier than others and as a bonus comes with it's own carry bag. I even have room in the bag for the remaining poles from my previous set. I would highly recommend these for anyone interested in utilizing agility poles for a sports team or as a set to work with at home. ... show more

I have been coaching for several years. This year I decided I was done with the little disk cones and wanted an upgrade. These poles did the trick. Setting up practice and preparing drills are a snap with these poles. The kids understand better on where they should go. The poles are long so be prepared if you have a small car. I had an issue with one of the poles when I first got them I contacted Uber and they took care of the problem right away. I would recommend these to any coach. ... show more

The training poles appear to be of good quality, and look sturdy enough to handle the wear and tear of regular youth soccer practices. The carry bag also appears to be sturdy and well constructed. My feedback would be to either make the poles an inch or two shorter, or the bag an inch or two longer. In trying to get the poles in and out of the bag, I'm afraid I will ruin the zipper or the poles. Both will not last long if I use them frequently... and therefore, I'm hesitant to use them together. ... show more

Size: Set of 12 Style Name: Spring Loaded Training Poles
I loved the look of these poles, the fact that you get two colors you can use for different purposes. I like that they sway and get in the of the players which makes them become more agile. The included bag is a good fit and with a lot of gentle care it holds up a bit. That is where the positives stop, the major issue with these is that they separate at the seam where the rubber "spring" is, they basically did a dry fit and then used a small blind rivet to try and hold it all together. Since the rivet is going into rubber you can imagine the rubber simply shimmies past the rivet and the whole thing comes apart. If the rivet would of gone all the way across I don't think that would of been an issue. So now when I go to set these up I keep to constantly ensuring that they stay together and during practice I've had to reset them various times. The black endcaps also come off easily and get lost. I purchased these on August 22nd and it is October 25th now, so writing this review based on 2 months use. I think you should keep looking as these are not worth the hassle. I will not buy another Uber Soccer Product again. The company doesn't build good equipment and they don't stand behind their products as you will never hear back from them if you contact them. I also bought their adjustable hurdles so go check out that review too. ... show more
