The cutter's "% battery left" display is a real plus. The on/off button is a pain, because if you carry this in say a backpack, it's going to turn on in there and run the battery out - unless you create a little dome or box over the button, keeping anything from touching it. without that, it's going to turn on in your bag and waaaaaaaaaaa..... ..., for hours, then be out of power. no electronics is worth five stars unless you've had it a year, and have proof it's lasted that long, that's why I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... show more

This kit is great- it comes with everything you could need. The different clipper sizes are wonderful. The scissors are handy. One issue- the oil was everywhere when it arrived- it had leaked and it was literally on everything. It was annoying but fixable. I was feeling adventurous and though about trying to cut my own hair again but also could use a decent beard trimmer. This one was perfect for both those things, and for when I'm brave enough to try to cut my hair again. The screen is a nice touch and displays the battery life and speeds. This works well for cutting hair. The motor is powerful and it does what it is supposed to do. The product itself though feels pretty cheap. The plastic seems thin and contrasts to the weighty motor and blade assembly. I also do not like that it has a USB charge cord. Seems odd. Overall though if you need something rechargeable to cut hair this will work and if you can get it cheap you might as well. ... show more

A professional clipper set at a consumer friendly price. This set includes an electric trimmer, 4 comb guards, a plastic styling comb, oil and beard scissors and a charging cable. The electric trimmer offers 3 adjustable speed options of 5000, 6000 or 7000 RPMs. Also, a tiny dial can be set to make minor adjustments to the razor's blades. A built-in rechargeable battery offers flexibility in transport as well as ease of use while shaping or trimming beards and hair. Different length guide combs can be attached to the trimmer with ease to give a more controlled cut. The trimmer is designed with strong, shatter resistant clear plastic with quite a bit of heft. There is a color LCD screen showing battery level, RPMs and notifications for maintenance. Pros: Excellent economy trimmer with cutting options that punches above its class. This is an excellent starter kit for cutting hair. The clipper is fantastic, the sizes work well, and the battery is strong. Overall for the value it's an excellent purchase. The clipper works extremely well. It is quick and durable. It cuts clean and smoothly without any issues. It has a small screen to show the settings it is on. You can also adjust the clipper itself for differing lengths. The guards have variable sizes and work great as well. They simply clip onto the clipper and allow for differing lengths in the hair cut. I ordered these hair clippers for an upcoming vacation we were taking. I was drawn to this because it said it was compact and wireless. That means that it would fit in our luggage and we could charge it up and not worry about having the correct outlets or batteries once we were there. My spouse used this product several times, and was very happy with it. It was great for keeping the mustache, sideburns and beard trimmed and neat. We charged the clippers before we left, and it held a charge the whole time we were gone. Although it came with scissors, we did not take those with us because of the airline rules. However, we did use them before we left and they were very sharp and easy to use. The clippers came with four different edges so that you could decide how long you wanted your beard trimmed.
