The durable stretch lycra interior and ballistic nylon let the wearer maintain flexibility with a low profile and less bulk while still resisting tears in the fabric. These ergonomic pads are constructed of breathable materials to improve comfort and keep the wearer cool and dry during intense activity. The top and bottom wrap around straps are strong and easily adjustable with the attached hook and loop fasteners, so the pads are never too loose or too tight. This set includes 2 knee pads and 2 elbow pads in a size large. Plus, these pads come with a 1 year warranty and are CE certified to standard CE EN 14120:2003 + A1:2007 level C for riders over 110 lbs. (50 kg).

These Pro-Tec street knee and elbow pads are excellent. They fit well and sizing is accurate to the chart (see pics for sizing chart). The quality and stitching seems good. Movement is good with the pads on. I’m sure comfort will increase as the foam breaks in. All pads are conveniently marked left and right. I bought these for my son when he started long boarding recently. I have 187 Killer pads but couldn’t get them in his size with Prime so I went with these as I know Pro-Tec makes good products (have several of their helmets). These are just as plush as the 187s and protection seems on-par as well. I knew I had to get something comfortable or else my son would not wear them and these fit the bill. They are well made (stitching is great), fit well, and most importantly provide great protection.     • If You Have Kids These are the Pads for Them
They provide excellent protection in the suseptiable injury zones. My son loves the pass because they are easy to put on and stay in place. The pass have a sewn in wrap which you slide your arms and legs into. The elbow pads has two wrap around Velcro straps on each. The knee pads have a top wrap around Velcro strap on top with a cross strap which goes around a buckle on the bottom. This bottom cross strap tightens to your level of comfort and keeps the pads from riding up or down no matter what activity you are participating in. As far as the hard plastic guards go, they are very durable and take a beating with minor marks. If you have kids these are the set of pads which will keep them Safe and they stay in place. I would recommend the ProTec wrist guards also if you have kids which skate or skateboard. ... show more

Protection... better than most pads out today. I have had them save me a few times skating the ramp/skatepark Size... I have chicken legs and calves. Went with a large even though I am 5'11" and 190lbs. Most people said to go bigger but it's about your leg size, not your total weight. Top velcro fits perfect. I used the size chart and will agree with what others have commented: order one size up. I'm 5-9 150lb and I ordered medium and the straps barely closed. So I'm returning for a large.

    • these pads are pretty good for the money
5'8" about 185lbs and 41 years old..... these pads are pretty good for the money, I've only used them once for about an hour and needed to adjust them once because they felt a little tight. I think these are going to work out well!
