  • Worth the $
Color: Matte Blue Size: Large
My son and I both have pro-tec. (Mine isn’t safety certified, his is). Both adult large, certified is the one on the right. We both love them. Comfortable, breathe as much as a helmet is going to, and doesn’t make you look like you have a giant round bbq lid on your noggin. Really though, why ya think pros wear pro-tec…..because they’re great skull savers!!! I’m definitely not gonna trust a cheap knockoff to protect my child’s head. I’ve read Triple Eight helmets for eggheads and protec for round heads. My son has an alien like cranium and his certified protec fits great! Pay attention to the size chart, use some common sense in sizing, buy a bada** protec and get out and have some fun!!! ... show more

  • Quality Helmet, Crap inner liner and ROUND
Color: Matte Black Size: X-Small
I bought this helmet along with the triple 8 dual certified. Both Helmets are pretty much the same helmet from a protection standpoint. I saw various reviews comparing the shapes of both helmets with Protec being more round & Triple 8 being more oval. I was not really sure how my head would fit so I purchased both to compare. Looking at the helmets you can clearly see the shape difference. Well this helmet is definitely round and will fit a round head shape better. It looks more pronounced of a mushroom on my head and there is more space (loose) in the temples so yea it is round and I realized my head is more oval shaped. The triple 8 is for sure more oval and fit my head much better all around and had no gap near the temples. With the padding the protec is pretty thin! Triple 8 offers two sets of liners with different thickness and the thinner one is still thicker than the Protec. Long story short; same exact helmets safety wise as Triple 8, Protect for round head and liner is crap! If my head was round and was a fit for me I would give it a 4. One star deduct for the liner ... show more

  • My Daughter Loves It!
Color: Matte Black Size: Medium
This review isn’t from someone who is an avid skateboarder or really has much knowledge about the sport. My daughter is into skateboarding and we bought her this new helmet as a gift. It fits exactly as described (remember to follow the sizing chart) and she said it fits her better than any other helmet she’s had. We like that it has a certified impact approval rating, she likes that it’s so comfortable she doesn’t mind wearing it. Win-win. ... show more

They are a great product. Have been buying them for years. But just bought this one for my grandson and it didn't come with the extra small padsto make it more comfortable. I guess that was old school

  • Hot, Heavy but STURDY AF
Color: Matte Blue Size: Large
I have many helmets, I ride everything from motorcycles to razor scooters and everything in-between. One thing I've learned is your helmet needs to suit the activity you're doing. This is the helmet I grab when I know I'm going to take bigger knocks. Hopefully at lower speeds because this helmet is sturdy but hefty. The safety it provides comes at the cost of weight. ... show more

  • Great value
Color: Matte Black Size: X-Large
My noodle is more narrow than round and helmets are a tough thing for me to buy. This fits okay-ish. I bought some extra padding to try and get the fit better, and it its better, almost acceptable. All of that is more me than this helmet and it would keep my brains in a convenient bucket in case of something terrible. -1 star for the iffy chin strap/mounting system. It would be miles better if it went to your chin, but I suppose that's what you get for the price. If it fits your noggin then this would be great bang for buck. Going to bite the bullet and get a Team Wendy. ... show more

  • Extra Large Bicycle helmet fits an Extra Large Melon
Color: Matte Black Size: X-Large
the helmet is a bit expensive, but the material is good, and i personally feel safe with it while doing light biking. would recommend for anyone biking and wanting a smooth round top bike helmet, for skateboarding as well. Does have a weird/dumb disclaimer that this bicycle helmet won't be liable if you die in the event of a fall while wearing the helmet, which fun fact, doesn't actually protect them from liability, just tries to discourage people from suing if the helmet is actually faulty, which seems a bit shady, but aside from that, solid helmet, would recommend? ... show more
