This product is similar to another I've reviewed, and uses the same iWawa child software. This device comes with a USB-A to USB-C cord (it charges via USB-C), a screen protector, a parent's instruction manual for their child-lock software, and a sturdy, rubber case preinstalled. The case is great, very safe for a child and from a child, and includes a convenient (attachable) lanyard/strap. But it still leaves all of the external buttons and ports accessible. It also has a solid built-in plastic stand on the back, which is adorned with cute decorations! The device itself starts on a basic version of Android 13, parents will need to set up the parental lock. The child software is called iWawa, and it does a good job preventing children from accessing apps they shouldn't. The included apps are...fine, nothing really "educational", just simple games. But you can set which apps they can access, so you can install better educational apps for your child. It has all the other features you'd expect, child password protection, time limits for apps, etc. And once your child is done with it, parents can exit the child-mode at any time with their password, and then it's a standard Android tablet. The device is powerful enough to perform all the basics you'd need from a smart device. I think it's a solid, safe introduction for young children to smart technology. I am letting my granddaughter use this tablet. I like the size it fits her, just over 3 years old. She uses the lanyard to set the tablet on her knee. Usually she uses my phone or her sisters tablet. Now she has her own. Uses it to take pictures and play games. I say a starter tablet because it would be good for anyone to start with and learn. Also the parent lock is very nice. The $39 selling price is great. The cover fits nice and tight. Carrying handle and the kickstand work great and are properly placed for ease. My only 2 issues are it came with a family management software I hadn't heard of or trusted. I will just configure for google family link which I trust, so not really a big issue other than a little bit of time to configure. The biggest issue is it is a little slow. Sometimes while setting it up I would have to wait wondering if I had clicked the accept button or it was working. Now this tablet sold for half the price of my faster tablet so it comes down to what your wants and budget are. It does work fine, it didn't lock up, just a little slow so giving it to a 4 year old who is going to outgrow it in a year is probably a good investment. On the other hand, giving it to a 13 year old might make them wish you purchased a faster one. The ad is correct in what they are offering just bear in mind this is a budget tablet and a good price. I think it is geared for smaller children where if it is dropped hard or abused you wont be too upset at a total loss. ... show more
