  • Does the job
A decent blender pen and it even works with some color pencils too.

  • Versatile product
Not only is this used for Prismacolor blending, but also for activating my watercolor pencils with more precision than just a wet brush. Love that.

  • New Favorite Tool for Colored Pencils!
I can only compare this with one other blender pen, regular pencil blenders, stumps, and various, atypical, possibly ridiculous solvents and tools that I’ve used with colored pencils. Prismacolors, in particular. The Pantone (pen) by Letraset Blender-T, moves the pigment around too much. For very small areas, I prefer the Prisma blender pencil. And I maintain that if you use colored pencils at all, you will be thrilled with the results of using a blender pencil. That said, the BEST thing about using this pen, I’m learning, is that it doesn’t flatten the tooth of the paper, the way a hard pencil does. This enables you to add layers AFTER pen-blending, as opposed to a pencil blender which I often regret using whenever I go back to a piece later and want to add something, only to find it difficult to get the pigment to hold onto the paper. I can’t speak to how long they last, but I’m glad I bought this pack of two because I’m using them a lot. Note: One reviewer mentioned using these on Derwent Inktense pencils, which are so fun to use & I whole-heartedly recommend, but NOT with this blender. Inktense pencils lay down like watercolors but dry permanent, like acrylic. Don’t waste your solvent pen on the Inktense to blend ... use water. Prismacolors are wonderfully waxy pencils, and this blender is my new, favorite tool! ... show more

  • What's wrong with the tip
I really don't understand how to use this marker with its big tip. It has a very weird shape. Not straight flat from each side like normal marker. But this tip has 4 or 5 sides cut in different directions. And when I want just to cover big spaces it is hard to understand and hold it right.

  • Colorless blender marker
Does a nice job of removing sharpie marker from smooth surface.

  • It blends gel pens very well
It kind of ruins the pen after you use it on a dark color

  • Great
You definitely have to experiment with it before using on a finished piece. It's great for blending out mistakes where you've colored outside a line on accident. If you center the marker with light pressure to that area, you can in a way "erase" that minor mistake. When using it to blend colors in a larger scale or light shading, the marker ads more of a watercolor effect. It separates the ink and dispurses it, for the most part, evenly. The beauty of prismacolor is your ability to layer with the same color over and over. The only negative is that with some colors the blender won't fully blend and will kind of stain that area. It'll look like a watermark disrupted the ink. Then you have to go over it again with whatever color you used, which could be annoying if you're trying to leave that area lighter. Otherwise, an awesome product. ... show more

  • The best blending pen for colored pencils
I love to color and I love Prismacolor everything. This pen makes blending real easy. The one thing I didn't like is it's hard to get off
