We utilize the motion sensor feature most often, but even then the battery seems to die faster than I would care for. (To be fair, I think we average every 2 1/2 when on motion sensor and 4 days and when manually, turning it on and off.) The various light options were a favorite of my husbands, and I enjoy the magnetic mounting. If you’re on a budget, these are great. I purchased three 2-light packs of these lights. One light no longer charges. I've only had it less than a month. Two others don't shine anywhere near as bright as in the past. The other two are doing fantastic but what a disappointment. I would have purchased several more had they worked properly. I'm amending my 2 star review because I've discovered that using a cable, other than the one provided enabled a proper connection and allowed the battery to fully charge. I'm much happier and would recommend the light assuming that you have your own cable... ... show more

UPDATE: I ended up exchanging these and the new ones seem to stay on without issue. I had these for about 3 weeks before the stay-on function stopped working. Regardless of what setting I choose, they are now permanently motion sensor.. so if you only want motion sensor these are the lights for you! Otherwise they are bright. the charge is so so. ... show more
