These deck tiles are pretty nice to put around a hot tub or something like that where you want the water to be able to drain away, but know they are not perfectly lined up w/ each other so you will need to do a stagger pattern, which will give you a little better stability w/ them as well. If you're trying to match these to ones purchased a while ago, (like I did), they aren't going to match. These tiles seem to have some stain on them which makes them more of a darker brown/red color vs. just the natural wood. ... show more

I find these very attractive and sturdy. I got these for the base of an outdoor shower and I couldn't be happier. Unlike full plastic tiles that bend when being stepped on, these stay firm, even on different ground. They are easy to assemble and quickly lock into place. They are also easy to unlock if you want to move them. I did not find them coming apart on their own, which is good. Keep in mind, unlike plastic, these are wood and they are going to require maintenance. The instructions say to coat them with two layers of polyurethane before putting them outside, and then periodically after that. As you can see underneath, they are attached to a plastic base which goes on the ground, so it should probably be sealed on that side as well. I would recommend these. ... show more

.....but are quite adequate for use on my wooden deck around my hot tub. They look really nice! My only quibble is that some fit together perfectly, while some are very hard to fit, or are too loose. In the end, you can't *see* the difference, so if they stay seated, that's good. I'll update this review if it becomes a problem. ... show more
