I was in it for the retinol and a bit of color and this product did not disappoint! The color is a brownish / orange-ish red and it’s much thicker than most other glosses. I can’t speak to the retinol efficacy since that takes a bit of time but I will say my lips need more frequent exfoliation to avoid being downright peely since I started using. I ordered the .42 oz. PRIMERA Retinol Volume Lip Serum in the Rosy color. It is promoted as a Retinol long-lasting lip plumper, glossy hydrator and clinically proven to be firming with moisture lock. It does have a silicon applicator tip which allows for smooth application. It is a very light rosy color. There is no discernable scent or taste and I do feel a slight tingling after application. It does feel moisturizing and not sticky. It also does not make my lips look like the photos on the product page with regard to glossiness or rosy color. I also found that I need to apply it more than once or twice a day. It might last longer if you don't eat or drink anything all day but that just isn't realistic. I think it is expensive at $24 at the time of writing this review for what I feel is an average lip gloss. ... show more

Excellent product..smooths and plumps the lips as advertised. With the active ingredient of Retinol I choose to use miny mostly at nigh to ensure no sun exposure. Any time I do use it in the daytime hours I always have an SPF gloss applied on top to protect the skin on my lips.
