Excellent product..smooths and plumps the lips as advertised. With the active ingredient of Retinol I choose to use miny mostly at nigh to ensure no sun exposure. Any time I do use it in the daytime hours I always have an SPF gloss applied on top to protect the skin on my lips.

This plumping lip serum is pretty good. It does give my lips a tingle and almost hot feeling to my lips although I don't see much of a plump to my lips other than a little tingle and a little pain. The glossy portion of the gloss is great and it really goes look good on. Light shade and the retinol inside of it is great and good to continue to use as I get older. I would use this daily if it didn't have the plumping sensation to it. ... show more

I was in it for the retinol and a bit of color and this product did not disappoint! The color is a brownish / orange-ish red and it’s much thicker than most other glosses. I can’t speak to the retinol efficacy since that takes a bit of time but I will say my lips need more frequent exfoliation to avoid being downright peely since I started using. This aligns with more rapid cell turnover. But this gloss is very moisturizing. There’s no discernible scent. Overall, I’d buy again and recommend. ... show more

I ordered the .42 oz. PRIMERA Retinol Volume Lip Serum in the Rosy color. It is promoted as a Retinol long-lasting lip plumper, glossy hydrator and clinically proven to be firming with moisture lock. It does have a silicon applicator tip which allows for smooth application. It is a very light rosy color. There is no discernable scent or taste and I do feel a slight tingling after application. It does feel moisturizing and not sticky. It also does not make my lips look like the photos on the product page with regard to glossiness or rosy color. I also found that I need to apply it more than once or twice a day. It might last longer if you don't eat or drink anything all day but that just isn't realistic. I think it is expensive at $24 at the time of writing this review for what I feel is an average lip gloss. ... show more

I have wide and very skinny lips, not my best facial feature so the idea of plumping my lips is very appealing. I also am outside a lot and have not taken good care of my lips by using enough lip balm. So, when I got this product, I tried it on, felt the tingling and the glossy lip feeling. Hmm, great, I thought and proceeded to go outside where the temps were in the upper 80's and sunny. After about 20 minutes it felt like my lips were going to crack and I ran inside and applied lip balm. No one ever taught me the relationship between retinol and the sun, now I know. I am rehabilitating my lips with better care and reapplied this Lip Serum today and it felt fine, I do like the way it plumps my lips and is the perfect natural color for me. It is a little tacky feeling but lots of lip glosses are. I will continue to use this wisely and see what results I get long term! Also, made in Korea. ... show more
