Description

The aluminum radiator is designed to provide maximum cooling efficiency to prevent premature engine failure. Its light-weight,and high heat transferring aluminum features a tube and fin design that,dramatically increases surface area that enables the heat to dissipate more efficiently. Love that it is well made. Welds seem decent. Fit width was correct height not so much ended up just bolting to the front support. Some fins were bent, not sure if from shipping or what, boxing looked good so I have to assume it was at factory. Transmission cooler is just for show.. Do not use.. fluid was hotter then a fire after one run out the hills. Added in a fan powered transmission cooler. ... show more

Good quality radiator. Works well in a 1985 Chevy k10. Only had to modify the top hold down brackets. This is a 4 row radiator which is thicker than the stock radiator, so the mounts had to be lengthened to fit around the extra width of the 4 row tanks.

    • Does Not Fit!
Purchased this radiator for a 1989 GMC R3500 Dually with a 454. Between the description and fitment, it appeared that this radiator would fit the truck. I was unaware that we should have measured the radiator in the truck first. I just figured that since it said that it would fit, it would fit. Sadly, with the truck getting a lot of work done, it took a couple of months from when we got the radiator to when we attempted to put it in. The radiator is 6 inches shorter from right to left than the original. My husband attempted to try to get it to fit, however the shroud covered all inlet and outlets. I only ask that the company please recheck the fitment of the radiators before the information in. This radiator was not a perfect fit, nor was it a fair fit. Not even close. So I would take GMC R3500 and 454 engine off of your list. The radiator itself is really nice and I bet would be a good radiator. I did 3 stars because it was our fault for not checking dimensions. I didn't realize I had to, and it is our fault for waiting so long to put it in. I can't blame the company for anything other than the need to check what they are putting on the site for fitment. ... show more

Product seems to be well made but it only lasted me 3-5 months and then it cracked on the top corner by the return hose

WAS ABOUT 3/4" SHORTER THAN ORIGINAL. MAKE SURE ABOUT YOUR UPPER RADIATOR HOSE WITH THE 1 1/2" OUTLET. HOSE MAY NEED TO BE FROM 72 - 77 +/- THANKS FOR THE GREAT QUALITY JESSIE

This replaced the smaller stock radiator that had developed a leak around the filler cap. We have this on our 1985 4X4 pickup truck that we us with a snow plow, so it was always running hot but now with the larger radiator it should be a little cooler.
