A: No, an overheating engine could mean an issue with your radiator, but there are other pieces of the cooling system that could cause the engine to overheat. It is important to check for coolant leaks or a malfunctioning fan. If you look at the radiator and there is a lot of corrosion or holes there may be a problem with the radiator. Either way it is important to get the whole cooling system checked when your engine overheats.

  • Works great
I bought this for a 2003 Dodge ram 3500 5.9L . It fit perfectly in my truck, looks great and works great. I did have to use regular screw to tighten hose clamps on this because the factory pressure clamps was allowing a very tiny about of antifreeze to spray out, but that is the only issue I ran into. I've been using this for 3 years now and it still works and looks great. Would buy another if needed. ... show more

  • 1996 5.0 f150
The media could not be loaded. Fit like a glove, swap over the shroud tabs from your old radiator and they snap right in like an oem part. Great radiator. Took about 2.5 gallons of coolant to fill after getting all the air out of the system

  • Excellent quality and value!
I installed this in a 1994 Ford Bronco with the 5.8L engine. It fit perfectly. My first trip with the new radiator was pulling a trailer with a small tractor in about 75F weather. The truck kept it's temperature as expected. The aluminum radiator is a great improvement over anything you'll buy at the parts store and it is the same price. Worth purchasing! ... show more

  • F-150 stock radiator with plastic end caps to all alumni radiator swap
I took my time taking measurements from old stock radiator and verifying same measurements to the new All Aluminum radiator. All measurements were exactly the same between the two for installation purposes. I truly expected some variants between the two radiators. I transferred nut clips and shroud clips with no problems. The transmission fittings were transferred from old to new without problems. Radiator fit exactly as original equipment. The only question not answered is the radiator cap PSI rating is not noted. ... show more

  • Was not plug and play, but nice!
Very nice radiator, installed today on a 1994 F150. Fan shroud clips that hold the radiator at the bottom are not in the correct spot (but kinda work) and top fan shroud bolts have to be drilled. No big deal, aluminum, but want everyone to know this is not plug and play. I would buy again.

  • Highly professionally manufactured
I have a very low mileage 1987 F150 XLT Lariat which consistantly over-heated. Replacing the OEM 2 row radiator with the 33% cooler running unit did the trick.
