This Aluminum Radiator is at least 35% more efficient than stock ones. Most importantly,it has a much higher capacity for coolant than stock ones, which means that your cooling system will be more efficient and will be more resistant to temperature surges in racing applications. An exclusive tube design that dramatically increases cooling, reinforced die-stamped tanks for added rigidity. Use of Nitrogen during welding in the furnace for maximum strength. Full TIG-welded Radiator Includes High-pressure Rad Cap and Brass Drain plug. • Decent Radiator for the Money
Radiator showed up with no damage, looks like a quality item. No problems as far as cooling. Temps stay consistent so does transmission. If I had to be picky 2 things that I would point out is the bottom mounts were really tight to set in. They were not quite as far apart as the factory unit but I did manage to get it mounted. The other is that the trans fittings for the 05-07 do not mount flush in the cooler, but it does not leak so far. Again just being picky. So far it’s doing great. ... show more

  • Arrived Damaged - Updated
Same damage I've seen in other reviews. The box looked perfect and seemed to be well protected with foam. So this leads me to believe it was damaged before it was shipped out. Either way, obviously, this isn't going to work. I've reached out to the seller and will update when they make it right. I'll add that everything else looked OK. Welds looked OK. These inlet/outlet ports though felt like they're made from thin flimsy metal which might explain this damage. Hopefully clamping down with the hose clamp doesn't damage/crimp it. Update 1: Seller asked if I could just repair it and use it for a reduced price (compensated) A fair ask but not willing to take the risk on a failure with my truck. So instead,he is sending me a new one. Hopefully, this one comes without damage. Will update again. Update 2: Seller sent me a new one. This one arrived without damage. I've had installed in my 2005 f350 for several months now. Taken on multiple trips hauling heavy loads. No problems at all. I did have to go back and tighten a couple of connections but that's not the radiators fault. My temps seem to run cooler. I have a Mishimoto 200degree thermostat and it rarely gets up to that temp. Hangs around 195. Even when towing seemed to run cooler than it used to. Haven't yet hit the hot summer temps though. Happy with the radiator. ... show more

  • Impressed but wait and see
I was very impressed by the product, price, and especially the oil cooling line accessories adapters. I have purchased from this company before and I was very satisfied. But we will see in a months time if it holds up. So far so good. Thanks

  • Good quality, small trans cooler lines
Overall this is a nice radiator. My ect dropped significantly from my clogged oem. 2 things to point out are 1) the trans cooler lines are significantly smaller than the oem radiator. If you are worried about a hot trans this might not be a good idea (the manufacturer just needs to drill them a little bigger!) 2) having an all aluminum radiator means you have a piping hot 200 degree+ strip of metal (top of radiator) right in front of your engine bay you need to be careful of when working under your hood. ... show more

  • Very Pleased!
Update!!!! Got finished with the install. I had to trim my existing trans cooler fittings from an older stock replacement one to work on this one. I ended up removing .155” from the overall length. Anyone that repairs vehicles understands that replacement parts may not be 100%. This was an easy fix. I have topped off coolant and I am letting it come up to temp to check for possible leaks. Overall I have to give this radiator a 4.875 out of 5 stars. I would’ve liked to have seen fully TIGGED welds instead a mix of wire and TIG. Other than that, I AM PLEEEEAAAAASSSSEEEEDDD! So far I’ve just opened the box to make sure there was no damage. I had read reviews before purchasing and the most common complaint was damage and poor packaging. I can say mine was well packaged and zero damage, I’m impressed with the quality so far too. Hopefully I will get to install it in the next few days, I will follow up with info and pics. ... show more

  • Love it! Great quality for the price!
Great quality for the price! Packed very well! Minor scuffs and scrapes to the cores from the factory...but I've never seen a new radiator that didn't have some. Make sure to take the hose line plugs out and shake the radiator, I had a few small pieces of flux/weld inside the top and bottom. Easy to get out, and I flushed the whole radiator with distilled water before installing. I recommend you buy several extra gallons of distilled water and do the same with ANY new radiator...they all seem to have some kind of crud in them to flush out. <chuckle> Welds are clean and complete. Maybe a tad bit of grinding needed, but nothing I haven't just left on my own welding work. Fitment was good, slots in nicely, although it seems a tad smaller than the OEM part, small gaps on the sides of the air dams, no biggie. Fit well in the 2003 6.0. For a 2003-2004 6.0, don't forget to take the big receiver nuts for the transmission cooler lines off the old radiator...not sure why it took me a second to figure out, but it did. (The parts the transmission cooler lines themselves thread into...you'll need those!) Of course, you unscrew the quick disconnects that come installed in the radiator. Some teflon take and thread those big receiver nuts right in. Make sure to tighten up the nice brass drain cock, it's only lightly threaded in. One minor complaint, the posts on the top for the fan shroud bolts do not seem to line up, no matter how much wiggling or bending I do. Off by a good 1/2-3/4". It may just be an issue with the 2003/2004 models, dunno. The shroud is still snug and stays put, so I'm not worried about it. Overall, an excellent value for the price. Just as good of quality if not better than the super expensive mishimoto version. I would buy again, and may buy another one just to have an emergency spare! ... show more
