This is my second purchase from this brand and the sizing is the same. The sleeve length is perfect for us long armed girls. I'm 140 pounds, 5 feet 9 inches and the small was good. This is a very form-fitting sweater, so if you want it to be looser, you definitely should size up. There is a lot of stretch. The fabric was soft on the outside but did not carry through to the inside. I would consider this a fall sweater. It's not the kind of sweater you can wear underneath of a blazer because of the poofy sleeves. The color looked purple in the pictures on Amazon but it's not. It's more of a blue gray and not as bright as my pictures show. I think the advertisement called it bright blue. It's not bright blue. Quality is perfect. I love the style and color of this shirt but the fabric is sooo soft that I can tell I need to be careful when washing. It will pull very easily, but will be cute for the first 3-5 outfits

I absolutely love this shirt. I always wear a size medium in shirts/blouses (size 8/10, 155 lbs, 36 DD) and I'm so glad I listened to others who reviewed this shirt. I got the color khaki and it is true to the color shown. It is very fitted, but that's what I wanted. For a looser look, I could have gone with an XL. It’s just not flattering. It’s a very soft (thin) material and I was excited at first. But when I put it on it clung to my skin highlighting every flaw. It also seemed a bit small.
