This is my second purchase from this brand and the sizing is the same. The sleeve length is perfect for us long armed girls. I'm 140 pounds, 5 feet 9 inches and the small was good. This is a very form-fitting sweater, so if you want it to be looser, you definitely should size up. There is a lot of stretch. The fabric was soft on the outside but did not carry through to the inside. I would consider this a fall sweater. It's not the kind of sweater you can wear underneath of a blazer because of the poofy sleeves. The color looked purple in the pictures on Amazon but it's not. It's more of a blue gray and not as bright as my pictures show. I think the advertisement called it bright blue. It's not bright blue. Quality is perfect. This fit tighter then the picture which is why I purchased it. I even bought 1 size up because I did read it runs small. It not only runs small but it is a very tight fighting sweater. It is soft and pretty but just not as it appears in any of the pictures. If you don't mind a tapered sweater then this is perfect but if you are looking for the bagger side and tapered/puffed sleeves I caution this purchase. ... show more

I have paid $200+ for quality sweaters in my life and this is my FAVORITE I have ever worn. The neckline does not come up to my neck, sweating me out to death. Leaves a nice neckline to show off necklaces. And the length is nice. I am a small person and when i order small or XS they are always RIDICULOUSLY SHORT as if i am small around, i “must” be short. It’s just not flattering. It’s a very soft (thin) material and I was excited at first. But when I put it on it clung to my skin highlighting every flaw. It also seemed a bit small.
