Just make sure your hands and feet are dry before use. The dead skin/callouses rolls off. If you have badly calloused feet it will take a few applications. Make sure to have your feet in the dry shower or dry tub or have a towel under you as it gets pretty messy.

I used this product years ago when it first was introduced. I got it again this month. It does take off some dead skin and soften your feet. However, it feels watered down.
