These nails aren't like your typical press on. They are thick! Don't bend. Im a truck loader so I can't usually keep nails on unless they are acrylic. But what I did, is use acrylic liquid w a clear color and pressed the nails on. Cured it under a UV light and I'm going on 2 weeks w.o breaking a nail off. I will be purchasing the butter top coat. I have chipped some of the white off due to chucking boxes all day long. Now if you have a simple job, like office, hair stylist or w.e. You can just use glue. I wish they had more designs though. This is my go to only brand. No more nails techs for me ! ... show more

Growing up in the 90s, press on nails always seemed to me like "kid makeup" and I always thought of those lost plastic nails floating around in the public pool. I assumed they would pop off anytime you used your hands for any type of work. But they have come so far since then! I have always admired ladies with nicely manicured nails and wish I could maintain mine without spending a ton of money and wrecking my nail beds. I pay way more attention to them now that I have hand/finger tattoos. But alas, I also work with my hands A LOT; Gardening, crafting, deep cleaning, opening cans etc (I work a lot with pets). After reading about how great press on nails could be, I decided to give them a go after my heavy gardening season was over. I always wear my nails very short, so I went with the shortest style and a square shape (these are more squoval I would say). BT Artbox instructions say to use both the adhesive tabs and the glue together which is apparently not common with other brands. But as a beginner, I went with this method and holy moley...it works! These nails are a great thickness, similar to acrylics I've had a couple of times in the past. I followed the instructions to a T...including pressing them for 90 seconds each. I like that this box comes with a huge assortment of sizes and I think next time I'll do better picking the right size for each nail. They have an average curve to them, more so than my natural nails and I think this is why my nail beds felt kind of sore for the first day. After that, these babies did not budge or feel like anything was attached to my nails. It took some getting used to just having long nails, but I was able to do all the tasks I normally do including opening cans all day long. They never chipped or lifted even once and I really used them HARD. At the end of the second week, they were just growing out and my hair was getting caught under the edges which is apparently normal at this point. They would have stayed on longer but it was time to remove them. While using the glue and adhesive worked amazing for keeping them on, the removal process was a bit tedious. I soaked them for over an hour, gently working the stick under the nails to loosen them up. It was a little painful but didn't damage my natural nails. Suffice to say, these are a game changer for me. I can have beautiful nails that look like they were done at a salon (no one is looking that closely). If you work with your hands a lot like me, its probably worth investing in some disposable gloves, nail brush and can tab opener (the metal ones that look like part of a set of nail clippers). Yeah you can open a can with these, but anything longer/pointier, just find a tool that works for you instead. I've since bought a few other brands, and so far I think these are probably going to be a favorite from now on.     • Stuck so well they ripped my nail off

WELL Y’ALL, these stuck on so well that just now (two weeks after applying) while trying to remove them my pinky nail came off up to the middle of the bed. No blood or anything luckily but woof! They were also a solid color instead of the pearlescent finish I thought they would be but MAN are they solid. These guys felt like acrylics I swear. I work with preschoolers and have NOT been easy on them these last two weeks; they’ve been hit my swings, I fidget with them all the time, and am constantly washing my hands. They weren’t even falling off when I removed them, they just started to get weird gap near the cuticle that your hair gets tangled in. ANYWAY! Very strong nails and very strong glue tabs, I liked ‘em. :) (For reference I did normal nail prep ie. buffing the beds, dehydrating, plus the glue tabs and nail glue from Nailene.) (4 stars for the difficulty taking them off, and the color discrepancy, but maybe just do slightly less prep haha!) ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised by the thick quality of the nails. I usually use a specific kiss nail, and I’ve tried other nails on Amazon but they all have turned out way too thin and fragile. This is day one with these so I’ll let you know how long they last for me personally, especially working as a lab technician. I used a separate glue (also from Amazon). UPDATE: So it’s been over 2 weeks now and I have only lost 2 nails!! That is pretty amazing for me. The rest are still holding on pretty strong!! ... show more
