I've only been able to play 1 round with these so far but that's all I needed to get a feel for these clubs. You can inspect a club to get a pretty good idea whether it's going to work well for you...and I am pleased to say these are really nice clubs. Here are my thoughts after playing with them: *The club face is unique, I really like these way that they've been milled...it has a lot of grip to it and I have really been able to spin the ball. I also really like that the entire club face is milled....this is very well done. *I would say that the grips are pretty standard, but I do like them. They work well and I have no complaints. *The shafts are nice and stiff and the weighting is good. All in all, while not familiar with this brand, I am impressed. In fact, I looked them up and couldn't find any other clubs that they made other than these wedges. Perhaps another manufacurer produces them for Alvo to sell....who knows. All I can tell you is that these stack up well against clubs that are 3 times the cost. These are solid clubs at a fraction of the cost. ... show more

For golfers who don't want to invest a lot on wedges, this is a pretty good set. Nice weight and balance. Non-slip grips (though I experienced some minor blistering after hitting a bucket at the range, but that could just be my hand placement). The grooving on the faces add some subtle action to ball spin. Pricing is roughly middle to lower than comparable wedges I've used, making this a pretty good price value. ... show more

These golf wedges are amazing. I love the look and weight of these wedges. They are a bit heavier than the previous wedges I’ve been playing, but they work great. A nice easy swing really pops the ball. And the grooves are giving me great spin. It is also nice that each of the 3 wedges feel the same weight, which is making me more consistent with all my chipping. I know what to expect from the shot and just have to pick the right loft for the distance. I also like that the bottom of the wedges have a thin blade. It allows me to get under the ball without having to take a divot. These wedges have really helped my game and I highly recommend them. ... show more

    • Surprisingly Good Set of Wedges
I didn't expect much from an off-brand set of wedges for the price. I've tried several one-off clubs with lackluster results. However, these ones perform really well. Played them for two rounds using them from a variety of distances and lies. The faces create great control around the greens. Weight feels good and consistent for each club. Overall, these performed great. My personal recommendation would be to offer a 50, 54, 58 degree combination as that is a better option for most golfers. A 60 degree wedge is very hard for the average golfer to truly utilize, a 58 degree provides a better outcome most the time. ... show more

    • Quality wedges at a good price
The milling of the club face is well done and the grips are premium. I have hit a few balls with these wedges and they hit just as well as any other wedge I have used. For the price, these are a great option.

Clubs feel very nice. Grips are just right. Stepped very nicely so they aren't to stiff or have too much flex. The clubs are polished very nicely ad the faces have very nice grooves. Amazing deal for a great set of wedges
