This is for the 8x4 version of the workout mat in grey / silver. I love this mat - after years of trying to use exercise mats that were of much narrower width for indoor aerobics, I had enough and was so happy to find a mat of this size. It does everything that is claimed - lays flat, stays in place, and made a big difference in my workouts. I have never felt so secure doing lunges, etc. The price may be a lot of some people, but it is worth it to have the firm cushion and safety underfoot. This mat along with a few other brands sat in my cart for MONTHS. I read review after review after review. I finally settled on gorilla mats for 2 reasons 1. If it gets messed up they replace it! Say whaaaat?! Yep if you’re gonna spend $140 thAt is Totally a reason to purchase from this company. 2. They are a small family owned business. That’s very important in these days of big box stores taking over our landscape. I purchased an $80 mat from lululemon that’s total junk and no where near the size of this one. It’s probably 1/4 the size of this one. Is it slippery? Yes , but it says after use that will fade. Much like every other yoga mat I’ve purchased. If I’m doing any yoga poses or push ups or something I just place a yoga mat down for my hands.It is a sturdy thick mat I use it over carpet An it moves a little but I do tons of hiit work outs with lots of jumping around. I just place a 10 lb weight on 2 of the 4 sides and it stays in place perfectly. It comes with 2 straps so you can roll it up and out of the way. Oh yeah the best part, it lays flat from the 1st time you unroll it. That was a huge sell for me. My lululemon mat does not, and that is a total trip hazard. The exercise mat was well packaged. I love the large size for moving exercises, like side lunges, and there is plenty of room for floor exercises. The comfort of the mat is pleasantly surprising.
