Perfect solution! When we bought our (very expensive) foam hybrid mattress, we were planning on buying a sturdy platform bed similar to our previous bed. However, we fell in love with a bedroom set that had a "sort of" platform bed with slats... but the slats were technically not close enough together and that would void our mattress warranty (aside from probably not being very good for the mattress). This is a solid, high quality product and definitely worth spending a little more compared to the cheaper (and smaller) ones out there. I’m a bigger guy (6’2”, 230 lbs) and need a firm, supportive mattress. I recently got a hybrid mattress and noticed it was sagging a bit in the gaps between the foundation slats. As soon as I put this bunker board in and laid down, I could feel the difference right away. Much firmer, exactly what I was hoping for. It’s true to size as advertised and fits perfectly under my mattress which was the main reason I purchased it. It provides full support across the entire mattress. I installed it under the foundation cover so it’s totally hidden. Also, shoutout on handwritten note from the family run business!

Waited a week to post a review My back feels MUCH better. I'm in my mid-40s and developing some arthritis there, so figured this would at least stop the mattress oozing between the slats of the bed frame; I did not expect it would help my morning back pain. But it has. Thank you. Brilliant idea, well executed. Works well, is lightweight and easy to add to any slatted bedframe. If you're on the fence just get it.

An excellent addition to our sleep system! We have recently upgraded our mattress with the most low-tech and amazing option. 100% natural wool. Basically it's a wool filled sack that is tufted to keep the work in place. It's totally natural, it breathes, regulates humidity, etc... But... It needed something more than the slats. This is where the Meliusly 10 mm Bunkie Board comes in. It gave us a perfect foundation for the mattress, without the need for a bulky and expensive box spring. The 10 mm version allows just a little flex so that you don't feel like you're begging down on the floor. Most crucially it breathes allowing the wool matress to work as intended! Super pleased! Thanks for making a great product at a good price point!

good quality, but it does slip around on the metal frame a bit, but not too much. the textured side doesn't keep it in place as well as described. BUT I really like it for keeping my mattress from sagging between the bars of my metal frame, and it also keeps my sheets in place when I tuck them in.

They fit perfectly! I wasn't really sure the difference between these and the heavy duty, with such a small price difference I just went with the slightly cheaper ones. I was worried they may not fit snug as some of the other reviews said but they fit perfectly on our triple bunk bed! I can visibly see the stability it brings on the mattress, our 2-bunk-bed never had these, and it did in fact slightly sagged over time. I'm hoping these will prevent that. The grip cloth on the bottom is light but mighty!
