Let's face it UHMWPE is one of the coolest plastics. I have rope made outta this stuff. They're are a couple of shoe manufacturers using it. Tip: if trying to glue it. 3M super 90, sand first then break surface tension with a torch.

I got these to use as runners for a table saw cross cut sled and they fit the bill. A little scratched up and they could have been a little wider to give a better fit in the 3/4" miter slot so I took off 1 star overall. They're not pre-drilled; given their typical use where precision is paramount, I would not recommend hand-drilling but not everyone has a drill press. ... show more

These are easy to work with, but there is enough space in the miter slots that there is some wiggle. It’s not too big of a problem for my work, but you wouldn’t want to use these on a cross cut sled.

This is my 2nd time purchasing this product. The first time they both worked great for my cross-cut sled. This more recent purchase only 1 of the bars actually fits in the miter slot, the other is too wide.
