  • Nice switch, smallish screws for attaching lugs
Style: Paddle Switch
A very nice and large, seemingly durable paddle switch. The screws for attaching the wire lugs are small as is the seating area. I had to reduce the width of the eyelets to allow them to seat. Works well and should be a nice upgrade over the toggle switch for quick turn off of my table saw.

  • Works nice, but it's a pain to install
Style: Paddle Switch
So it's all installed now and works exactly like I hoped. I refurbished an on industrial table saw to add a ground circuit and a proper safety switch instead of the old toggle. This one took a couple of hours, and all kinds of little work-arounds to get done though. The switch is exactly as deep as a normal single gang box, which makes it next to impossible to install. The screws to hold the wires are tiny, which make it a little harder. I had to solder the stranded wire to and from the switch, as it would otherwise not have been held well at all and there really wasn't room to make any other approach work. I wound up having to use spacers to sit the switch outside of the gang box, as there was no way to route wiring without needing some room behind. I'll take a look for a deeper box next time I'm down an electrical aisle, as I really don't like the way the install came out. But it works, it looks and functions good, so I can't complain too hard. Update: the first one is working fine, and it's nice to use. I went ahead and bought a second one and installed it on a smaller table saw with a bad switch. This time is was easy: cut a hole in the base to bolt it in, then wired it right up using the connectors the wiring already had. Works perfect. I'll probably pick up a third soon for another tool. ... show more

  • Perfect replacement for Grizzly tablesaw switch
Style: Paddle Switch
The switch (and unexpectedly, the bracket and actuator) were identical to the one I on my 10 year old Grizzly table saw. The original switch failed, and after taking it apart, you can see one of the two sets of contacts burned up. The new one works perfectly, of course.

Worked good

  • 2nd switch I’ve purchased
Style: Paddle Switch
A little big, but serves my needs, just need to make sure wires are long enough to tuck along the sides to reduce interference at rear. Start button is intentionally not easily pushed, large stop paddle always works

  • It works, this what you need.
Style: Paddle Switch
I'm restoring an old powermatic cabinet saw. My motor is a 3hp 1phase. Wired the switch like the diagram image in the description, it works. Like others say, it doesn't fit a normal enclosure. This worked for me: 1x metal 2-gang box (deep type), 1x sm-bag of 1/2" cable clamp conduit connectors 1x square metal 1-gang cover 2x screws 3/4" (that match the 1-gang cover) The grey plastic gangbox would work also, but I couldn't figure out how to secure the wires. The metal 2-gang box had plenty of room inside and worked out great. Don't forget the screws like I did. Get them at the store so you know they will fit. GL! ... show more

  • Fit without modification.
Style: Magnetic Paddle Switch, 120V
Fit my old Powermatic drill press without modifications. The two mounting screws matched the original spacing without a need to drill new holes. I had to use caution to ensure the old wire ring lugs could be cut off and new spade connectors crimped on without being too short to reach the new switch. The wires were short to begin with. Hopefully the switch's contacts and mechanism will hold up over time. The original switch lasted many decades. ... show more
