This produce is definitely your bang for your buck. It has power and well made. Unfortunately, if you want to use it just to mix your coffee or any regular drink then this isn't for you. It only has one speed and if you hold it down you will make a mess, and the stem is only 3 1/2 inches long so it's difficult to mix in anything taller. First of all, this is a good product, it works well, is convenient and is a good value. It is compact and easy to use. I use it mostly to mix whey protein and water (4x week), but have also used it to froth milk for coffee and London fogs. Cons: Battery operated, need to replace the batteries every month. There is a significant loss of power after the first few uses with new batteries. Also, I store it in the utensils drawer and it got slightly bent by one degree (I didn't get the stand). Now, when it spins it is lopsided and wobbles when mixing heavier materials (ie. protein powder). I would prefer either a rechargeable/plug-in frother to avoid getting new batteries and for constant mixing power. Also, the stand is helpful so it doesn't get bent in a drawer. ... show more
