First of all, I live in California near the current fires and our air is currently very bad, so I want to give a HUGE thank you to Amazon for discounting the price of this air purifier by nearly 75%. I was in desperate need of a purifier and it was a relief to not only be able to buy this, but also two extra filters and still cost less than half the regular price. Amazon for the win, as always! Anyway, this purifier is easy to set up right out of the box, you just pop the cover off to remove the plastic from the included filter, replace the cover, then plug it in and hit the power button. This thing fires up and after a couple seconds of cycling, it will register your air quality and start getting to work. I was surprised at how high my quality level was, but it just confirmed I needed this. After about an hour, the level had dropped substantially and there was a noticeably cleaner smell to the house. I guess we had just gotten used to the smell of wildfire smoke. Even at the highest fan speed setting, it’s not very loud. We ran it full speed for a couple of hours then turned it down to a lower speed, but depending on your needs you may not need to run it at the highest setting. It doesn’t take up much room at all, and it’s surprisingly powerful for its size. We are very happy with this unit and would definitely recommend it. ... show more

I am impressed with this air filter. It was very easy to set up and get running. On the auto setting it changes the fan speed to accommodate the air quality. It's nice I can vacuum the outside filter (that wraps around the two other filters) to keep it clean and operating well. I haven't yet cooked anything smelly to see how it clears the air, but I plan to update the review once I do. I got this air purifier for our bedroom. My hubby suffers from allergies, especially during the pollen season. He wakes up several times in middle of the night because of breathing problems caused by the pollens and dust. He tried different allergy medications, but all of which worked fine for the first couple of weeks and became less and less effective. I got him this product hoping could help him, which turned out working pretty good. We felt the difference the first time we used it. He has a much better sleep now with a cleaner and refreshing air quality in our room. It’s got a touchscreen control panel, which is pretty easy to use. We usually have it on in auto mode, it has the sensor to detect the air quality. This works incredibly well for us! We have a dog that, despite all our attempts, has a constant musty smell (amongst other very (VERY) foul odors LOL) and no matter the amount of cleaning, his smell lingered. So, we decided to try and air purifier and this unit has not disappointed! Now we can walk into our living room and not get hit with that musty dog smell! The setup is straightforward/easy and it's quiet, for the most part ... we keep it on the auto setting and at time it ramps up (I guess when it senses more purifying is needed) and can be a bit loud but nothing overbearing.
