  • They work really well.
The only thing that I do not understand is that I only read 8 volts with a volt meter, when these batteries are suppose to be 12 volts. They do power the tool very well, with lots of power.

  • Pretty good battery
These were inexpensive 12 volt cells. They hold a charge almost as well as the OEM batteries, not quite but almost. After a couple of months i started to have charging failures on one of the batteries, and set it aside, a week later the other had issues. I measured the battery voltage and the cells did not appear to be balanced. I assumed that the cells had started to fail, but then noticed that the terminal of the battery were not level like the OEM cells. I gently pried out the terminals slightly and the battery started charging properly. So these are fine, but need to have some maintenance occasionally. They are small and light, and the tools are easier to handle for longer periods of time, but you need to have more batteries. ... show more

  • Power Extra M12 Battery review
These "power extra" off brand M12 batteries have been great. I bought two of them a couple years ago, and recently bought 2 more so I dont have to keep swapping batteries between M12 tools. I have had no problems changing, incerting or removing batteries from tools. As for charging life I have not done extensive scaled side by side testing. My one use to give a side by side comparison has been using an M12 impact gun driving approximately 300 nuts and bolts, for an annual job. Originally I used Milwaukee name brand M12 battery which did the jobe effortlessly on 1 charge (note I only had one battery). The next year I bought the "power extras" and was able to do the same job on 1 battery charge. I will say of the 4 battery charge indicator lights on my tool at the end of installation name brand M12 had 50% (2 led lights lit) and power extra had 25% (1 led light lit). Either way it was a win for me The best part is the price point for the power extra batteries ($26.98 for 2) vs name brand Milwaukee ($52.00 for 1). My picture has Power Extra battery incerted in tool and power extra and Milwaukee brand battery side by side. ... show more

  • Used One time and now BRICKs - UPDATE #2
I bought the stapler, batteries and M12 charger for a job and out of the box I got RED/GREEN flashing error on batteries while trying to charge. I giggled the battery and it finally charged. Used the stapler for that one job and set it aside a few months. Now both batteries won't charge - one hasn't even been used. Do a search on youtube and you'll find lots of videos on this issue. Would NOT buy again. 12NOV23 UPDATE: I received an gmail from "Jenny" stating - "We learn that the battery has some problems now. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. To fix the problem, we are glad to send a new one or issue a refund for you. What's your idea?" She did not mention the name of her company so I had to assume it was regarding my recent one star review here. I provided my Order # and was then asked "Would you mind sharing your experience for our customer service firstly, then share later with using the new [replacement] battery." I have no problem stating that it's a good sign that this company took the initiative and reached out based only on my review. I added one more start to my review as well. I will update this review again once I receive the replacement batteries and hopefully report that they've fixed the defect. I'll also update this review if I don't receive the batteries or if the replacements are still defective. In any case, it's a bit weird that they wanted me to update this review before they would send the batteries. 18NOV23 UPDATE: I received two new replacement batteries as promised. Much quicker than I thought. I fully charged one of them with zero issues. The second one came fully charged. No RED/GREEN flashing lights - yay! I've updated my overall rating to 4 stars for the stellar (unsolicited) service. I haven't had a chance to fully test out the new batteries, but at this point I think it's safe to say anyone interested in saving some money, these batteries are worth a try. ... show more

  • Last a Long Time!
Batteries last a long time. I leave them in my garage where it is cold and I can still walk out there and use my tools with no issues.
