  • Great controller even without vibration feature.
Color: Pokémon: Pikachu Arcade
The only thing I don't like about this controllers that it doesn't have the vibration feature so no rumble, and I use that rumble for some of my games to help me figure certain things out cuz my eyesight is not the best. Other than that I love this controller. I love the extra pro buttons and make it easier to hit and do certain things. Overall it's just a wonderful controller. I even love the fact that I can plug my headphones into the controller so that I don't need a 10+ foot headphone cord or extension in order to listen to my game without disturbing those around me. ... show more

  • Surprisingly good, at the right price
Color: Metroid Dread
TL;DR is that you should wait for a discount (even a dollar cheaper is good enough) but for that price you get something that does exactly what you need. I've been wanting to pick up this controller for a while mainly for the novelty, and still plan on getting a wireless controller at some point, but I'm legitimately impressed by this thing. When you first unbox this, you get this overwhelming feeling that this thing will simply not be good. It is lighter than some controllers I've had for cheaper, and the plastic is a fascinating mixture of 'surprisingly cheap' and 'rather satisfying to touch.' But further handling reveals it is surprisingly rigid and sits comfortably in the hands. In use, the controller performs admirably. The deadzones of the sticks are a little high but they're tuned well around it, and the plastic on the sticks is lightly soft and not too rubbery. The membranes of each button bottom out satisfyingly with a good amount of sound and feel, and the material is lightly textured in comparison to the body of the controller. The d-pad struggles with diagonals and feels mushy when combining inputs, but individual presses are fine. I haven't attempted to bind or otherwise use the back buttons, and the box this came in didn't come with any instructions, but those can be found online somewhere. The one complaint I think is most valid is that the controller uses a micro-b connection on the controller's end rather than usb-c. implementing the port is really not that much more expensive to make this a completely different price bracket, so I can only imagine there is a logistical reason behind the use of micro-b. Overall, this is a solid controller, especially if you are limited by budget or otherwise don't care for extra features afforded by a higher price tag. I imagine this thing won't last terribly long, but as long as it lasts around a year I'd say that's your money's worth and then some. ... show more

  • Buttons hard to push
Color: Pikachu Electric Type
I love this controller its so cute I'm sad that one of my games on steam (sunhaven) doesn't quite register inputs from it still trying to figure it out. But for actual switch games it's amazing!! To program the bottom buttons hold the middle bottom button till it starts flashing then tap the button you want to copy like zr then tap the bottom button you want to reprogram. My only problem with this controller is the buttons do have a bit of resistance when pressing, I suppose thats typical for children's toys they need to stand up against hard presses cause children don't know their own strengths. ... show more

  • LIGHT AND EASY TO USE
Color: Heroic Link
It doesn't have vibration capabilities. However, the back buttons make it really easy to play games that need a little bit of finesse such as rocket league, fornite, or COD. Love it!!!

  • Functional controller for the price. With only one big caveat depending on what games you play.
Color: Heroic Link
For 16$ this isn't a bad option to tide you over until you get a higher quality controller or as a player 2 pad. Been using on PC via steam's built-in controller configurations. Feels cheap but not like in a (it'll break any second" kind of way. But for a budget controller that's par the course. Tested it with Halo MCC on steam & the GOG version of Streets of Rogue (GOG version but through the steam client so it's mapped correctly). I would not recommend this for hardcore shooters like halo where you're constantly tapping the triggers (which are buttons like the PS2 Dualshock and not analog btw, the only real downside to this controller imo. So not for modern racing games). The triggers can make your fingers tired fast compared to other controllers if you're constantly popping off shots in a shooter. However for games like streets of rogue with no analog sensitive trigger gameplay and with more casual use of the triggers this works fine and i've played for hours on it no problem. surprisingly unlike the old days of third party controllers the analog sticks are actually accurate and not all hyper inaccurate like the old madcats controller days. we truly have it better these days. Overall, as long as you know the pros and cons this is not a bad option for emulation & games that don't require analog trigger control. It's cheap, functional on a budget. the lack of analog triggers is puzzling to me though even at this cheap price point considering it's been a standard since the sixth generation consoles. ... show more
