I bought this for my sister who had a major operation. It came before she got out of the hospital (delivered Jan11.) after putting it together and trying it out no one sat in it. She came home on the 13th. The chair was just what she needed. The next day the heat and massage stopped working and the day after that the hydraulic lift stopped working, nearly trapping her in it. After contacting Amazon (who have been extremely helpful) the seller starts giving me all these hoops to jump through- they want a video? The thing isn’t moving! But, I send it to be compliant. Then the seller tells me I have to pack this chair up and get it to a return center (even in two pieces it’s very heavy) or pay for another shipping service myself and will not approve the refund until they get the chair and insure it’s in good condition (??!! The thing is a rock right now in my sister’s house) None of us need this aggravation. Agin, I have no complaints with Amazon, it’s the seller. ... show more

The two boxes did not come together, which I could somewhat understand that. The killer part was the instructions. After looking everywhere possible, I turned the seat over and found extra parts and one box. I opened the box last and there was this very sloppy instruction book, you had to definitely read between the lines. I'm 75years old, and I'm not familiar with placing the correct items together concerning electricity. My chair is not working as yet, I'm waiting on my grandson who is an electrician to come and see if he can get the chair to work properly, I finally gave up on it. ... show more

Looks good, adjusting mechanisms work fine but one complaint. The padding isn’t thick enough. After using it for 4 months I can feel the wood frame thru the seat and lower back when I sit.
