This chandelier was a good find for our entry way. However, putting this thing together requires IKEA furniture assembly experience, a lot of patience and some curse words at the ready. It comes completely disassembled and does require some basic electrical knowledge. If you have never changed a plug or installed a ceiling fan, don’t bother purchasing. If you are, however, DIY experienced, this is a good value for the money. Something else to note, the screws supplied to mount to the ceiling bracket didn’t come close to being long enough, so be ready to make a quick trip to the home improvement store! In all, I am satisfied with the fixture and it looks a lot better than the builder basic piece that was up before. ... show more

I gave this product a very bad review due to the following. This light fixture is a nightmare to assemble and has NO Quality Control. See photos of circular thread male part of the lamp arm that fits inside the base drum which has the hole with a flat top and bottom with circular sides, have two lamp arms that are defective. I am an Mechanical Engineer and I have assembled many light fixtures. Consumer is stuck with assembling the lamp arms into the base lamp drum, which is almost an impossible task once you get to the end of assembling the six (6) arms in an extremely small space inside the drum. Very bad design. I have not installed the light at this time. That part is the standard method of hanging most light fixtures. Bottomline. I would not have purchased this fixture if I had known the complexity of assembly required and no quality control. ... show more

Received this light fixture and upon assembly it became clear this was not as described. The rods only measure 18” and with the globes attached only reach a maximum length of about 20”. Unfortunately this becomes a much smaller light than the item specifications.
